[Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella) cosplay] Halloween Limited: Arrival of the Pure and Invincible Princess

Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella), as a Halloween-limited concept, is essentially a flawless idol filled with delightful contrasts. To recreate that immaculate, haughty princess vibe, I put tremendous effort into preparing this costume. The long pink curls and the voluminous twin hair buns at the back were the centerpiece; to maintain their 3D structure, plenty of wire hoops and hair padding nets were built inside, with meticulous styling applied to the outer layers of the wig. The silver tiara with embedded blue and red jewels was custom-made from acrylic, refracting light brilliantly. The giant blue horns, requiring a translucent crystal texture, were vacuum cast using thick resin. Balancing the weight atop my head was the biggest challenge during the shoot; combined with the elf ears and massive crinoline hoop skirt, every turn of the head demanded strong core stability.

As for the dress fabrics, the bodice and main skirt generously utilize highly reflective light-blue taffeta silk, delivering rich texture under convention hall lighting or outdoor sunlight alike. The pink bows and white lining contrast beautifully with subtly shimmery chiffon, blending seamlessly into dreamy pink, purple, and blue backdrops. For the legs, semi-sheer white Stockings were paired with blue ribbon leg garters adorned with pearls, striking a balance of sweet innocence and playful allure.

The photoshoot heavily tested physical stamina and expression control. Restricted by the expansive hoop skirt, large-scale movements required the photographer to adjust camera angles to accommodate. The tilted seated pose in Photo 9 is my personal favorite—the leg silhouette blends gracefully with the draped sheer backdrop, with visual framing that highlights the garment's dramatic proportions. For this special Fate/Grand Order look of Elizabeth Bathory, my goal was not only to capture her dazzling exterior, but also to channel her tsundere, pure narcissistic charm. For a Halloween theme, cool-toned lighting is vital to evoke that surreal illusion between live-action staging and an anime game poster. If seeing these photos conveys her lore traits of being 'pure and invincible, flawlessly haughty, and utterly perfect,' then all the hard work was worthwhile.
