To capture Hsin's characteristic blend of languid poise and sovereign authority within Xuanfang City, we invested tremendous effort into the studio shoot. I personally oversaw both photography and post-production for this session, booking Guanzhu Studio whose vintage Chinese set aligned impeccably with Hsin's tone.

First, regarding the wardrobe: the red-and-black base layer combined with an expansive flowing scarlet cape across the back delivers immense visual impact. My favorite details are the plush white fur along the shoulders and the pair of oversized fox ears; as I fluttered the folding fan, the tactile fur brought the character's vulpine essence vividly to life. To match the ensemble, crimson eyeshadow and forehead vermilion markings were deliberately emphasized, which, paired with scarlet lenses, unlocked that enigmatic gaze. Naturally, to convey Hsin's effortless composure, clear high heels and deliberate seated postures were choreographed to accentuate leg contours and overall body proportions. I also included a massive, fluffy tail spread out beneath and behind me when seated to lend a substantial, grounded weight to the frame.

The interplay of light and shadow was paramount throughout the shoot. Warm ambient glow filtering through lanterns, folding screens, and carved window lattices wove classical elegance together with fantasy charm. We employed ample warm side-rim lighting, which not only traced the contours of my silhouette but also preserved rich gradations across the dark shadows of the red-and-black textiles. Given the studio's compact layout, I experimented with diverse compositional angles to craft spatial depth—from full-body seated panoramas to shallow depth-of-field foreground framing. Blue butterflies placed in the foreground provided a chromatic counterpoint to the warm ambient backdrop, steering visual focus squarely onto the subject. During takes, I continuously adjusted my grip on the fan, whether lightly veiling my face or resting it casually over my knee, striving for that effortless elegance.

Emotionally, I kept returning to that pivotal line: "Should upheaval ever strike Xuanfang City in the future, I hope you will draw your blade for its soldiers and people. And if the situation becomes irreversible, you may wield authority in my stead." This duality—intertwining a fox spirit's seductive allure with the decisive, ruthless resolve of a sovereign ruler—was the core nuance I sought to embody in this cosplay. Thus, when wielding the fan, crossing my legs, or casually glancing toward the lens, I strove to strike that delicate balance of nonchalant detachment backed by latent intimidation. The gaze could not appear strained; it required relaxed ease without sacrificing its predatory edge.

From pre-production to final delivery—whether arranging props like the blue-and-white porcelain vases and gold-tasseled screens, or color grading the final palette—every choice aimed to make the finished imagery resemble a cohesive classical scroll. To support this visual narrative, I deepened the peripheral vignettes during post-processing to elevate the contrast between the central figure and the warm key light, hoping to fully unveil Hsin's singular, captivating presence.
