[Aemeath Cosplay] Elegant White Feathers in Wuthering Waves: Studio Shooting Log

The studio shooting plan for Aemeath from Wuthering Waves went through a meticulous process from preparation to actual execution.

For hair and makeup prep, the long pink gradient wig paired with signature headpieces served as key character features. To ensure our visual look matched the character's ethereal vibe, we spent substantial effort on the base makeup, highlighting a translucent, flawless skin texture. The white short top outfit incorporated black techwear straps and purple draped bows, outlined with gold embroidery, while the chest emblem tattoo sticker required precise positioning.

Regarding props, the blue-and-white inlaid scepter was no lightweight ornament; maintaining an elegant pose without looking overexerted kept my fingers and wrists quite taut during Cosplay photography, though its surface gloss under soft lighting turned out beautifully. White over-the-knee socks paired with white platform lace-up boots elongated leg proportions visually and sharpened the overall silhouette, keeping the top-heavy veil shawl from disrupting visual balance.

We collaborated with a professional studio for this Guangzhou studio shooting project, featuring large blue-and-white floral archways and white Roman pillars. Utilizing the studio's high-saturation ice-blue backdrop combined with light blue translucent floor tulle created a dreamy atmosphere blending sea-of-clouds and floral motifs. Lighting relied on dual softboxes with overhead fill light to eliminate harsh facial shadows while allowing the white-and-purple gradient sheer cape to radiate translucent luminosity.

For poses, we focused heavily on seated shots. The cover photo shows me seated on a styled white stool with legs naturally crossed, clearly showcasing the white stocking cuffs while maintaining a stretched shoulder-and-neck line. White gloves paired with sleeveless or off-shoulder designs easily look bulky if hunched, so keeping my back straight throughout the shoot was crucial to maintaining that light, fairy-like Anime girl posture.

With numerous blue-and-white roses present, the photographer used a wide aperture to blur foreground floor drapes, preventing visual clutter and letting the main subject pop out against the cool blue background. Moving between positions—seated on platforms or leaning against a white angel wing sculpture—provided structural support for legs while reinforcing the scene's sacred ambiance.

Handling an outfit with abundant accessories required careful adjustment of skirt hems and shawls during posture changes to avoid tangling or blocking leg lines. Final editing preserved the original clean blue-and-white studio tone. Through subtle position shifts and team synergy, we successfully captured the fresh, fluid beauty of the character with a soft, real-world aesthetic.
