[Athy cosplay] Who Made Me a Princess: Appointment in the Cloud Realm

This time, I chose to recreate the classic look of Athy from Who Made Me a Princess, focusing on this light golden fluffy long curly hair and the complex pink and white dress. To make the curl and thickness of the hair strands close to the original character, the wig went through multiple trimmings and layered styling. The crown on top of the head and the pink rose decorations on the side are not only highlighting elements but the very soul of the entire look.

In the makeup design, I emphasized the agility of the eyelashes and the natural blending of the eyeshadow, avoiding heavy makeup that would ruin the character's clear and elegant look. For the shoot, I chose two backdrops: European stone-carved railings and mist-shrouded mountain wilderness. The former subdues the sugary sweetness of the pink to highlight the character's elegance, while the latter utilizes the cool gray tones of the sky to contrast with the soft pink and white of the outfit. The set in Image 2 was actually shot in windy weather. Although accompanied by a floor-sweeping long tulle, the wind blew the tulle and skirt hem into a very natural flow, unexpectedly capturing a light-transmitting texture instead. Of course, organizing the streamers and holding down the skirt hem to avoid accidental exposure on-site took a lot of effort, but the lighting in this scene and the sense of layering from the distant mountains make this final photo set completely worth it.

To maintain the 3D shape of the dress, I added layered petticoats inside. The three layers of lace combined with handmade appliques feel lightweight and agile when walking. This shoot not only features fine considerations for the costume and props but also pursues the character's sense of breathing in a specific environment. A good anime cosplay is not just recreating a set image, but an attempt to bring the character into the real world.
