[Yangyang Xuanling Cosplay] The Cool Swordsman in Wuthering Waves, the Feather-Wielder of Xuanfang City

The Xuanling form of Yangyang has finally been successfully released. Looking at this costume up close, both the ice-blue gradient layers of the wig and the delicate black patterns and white feather patchwork on the skirt hem showcase an incredibly high standard of garment production. Especially in low-light environments, the cool white tones on the clothing echo the bright blue light effects on the prop, giving the final photos a naturally crisp, cold clarity.

When shooting this set of photos, the flowing grace that everyone sees is largely thanks to the choice of costume fabrics. While the voluminous wide sleeves and lightweight coat hem create excellent dynamic tension, they also added a lot of difficulty to maintaining poses on the day of the shoot. To bring out the sense of interaction between the weapon blade and the birds, we had to repeatedly trace the path of swinging the blade under specific camera angles until we found the movement path that best fit the character's aura.

The most appealing part of this look to me is undoubtedly its overall sense of atmosphere. Although the long-handled blade in my hand has a heavy texture, the inclusion of the feather element in its silhouette gives it an ethereal, lightweight air when swung. Combined with the glowing blue spirit bird prepared by the props team and the particle blooms overlaid during post-processing, we successfully recreated the flow of magic under a Xianxia-style backdrop within the frame. In terms of pose design, we deliberately amplified many leg close-ups and airborne movements; the combination of black high-heeled leather boots and a short hemline not only elongated my body proportions but also added a touch of dashing valiance.

The line mentioned in the post caption, \"Even if I must forsake everything I have, I will still follow through with my path,\" actually fits this character's sense of conviction perfectly. When we stood in this shooting scene enclosed by rockeries, flower branches, and dark lighting, my state of mind naturally settled down. Many movements look easy and natural in front of the lens, but actual shooting required immense control and physical exertion. For example, in the pose where I hold the sword with one leg suspended in the air, I often had to hold the position for several seconds just to click the shutter at the perfect visual balance between the skirt hem and the tip of the blade.

Personally, I think the handling of light and shadow in this set of photos is quite brilliant. Using cool-toned side-backlighting, the photographer not only outlined the character's facial features and the highlights on the edges of the hair strands but also gave the entire image a deep, quiet sense of narrative. In post-processing, I didn't chase after extreme over-painting or heavy editing, choosing instead to maintain a relatively realistic texture. I focused on enhancing a few blue fluorescent special effects and the transparency of the birds, allowing the magical elements to blend more naturally with the real scenery.

Watching myself go through wig trimming, costume care, and adjusting my state on the day of the shoot, I was striving to get closer to the character's soul with every step. Being able to freeze these moments within the atmosphere of Xuanfang City feels like handing in a satisfying final answer sheet for all the practice and preparation during this period. Full immersion and dedication transforming into a visually tense presentation through the lens—this feeling of conveying emotions through a role-playing game is truly wonderful.
