Shooting this official Cissia cosplay from Zenless Zone Zero, the most visceral impression was the sheer intensity of its techwear and industrial aesthetic. To harmonize with the game's electronic music atmosphere, I conducted extensive research ranging from garment textile selection to bespoke prop fabrication.
Starting with the wardrobe, the top is a vibrant hot-pink sleeveless cropped cut paired with a tiered black leather mini skirt. To enrich visual dimension, detached white puff sleeves are layered on, secured with black leather strapping and metallic hardware buckles, accented by a choker and plush pom-poms. The standout element of the lower body is undeniably the asymmetrical sheer black Stockings, styled with a buckled leather thigh garter on one leg and a white leg guard emblazoned with geometric lines and lettering on the other. In motion, this echoed the white tubular mechanical tail behind me, while black platform ankle boots and silver chains crystallized a dynamic cyberpunk techwear silhouette.
On the prop side, finishing that black polearm weapon demanded extensive sanding and refinement. The sharp pink spikes at the tip and the massive golden wave-shaped embellishment along the shaft anchor the visual focal point; possessing substantial real heft, it made channeling physical force much more natural during poses. For hair, I styled long golden locks into braided twin tails, crowned with black horn accessories and white plush pom-pom clips to honor her character traits. Red contact lenses along with deepened eyeshadow and winged eyeliner sharpened her fierce, spirited presence before the lens.

Beside them sat an audio mixing console with tactile knobs and faders, bathed beneath cool-white overhead tube lights to craft a concert-stage lighting atmosphere. While posing, I leveraged these environmental elements—adjusting leg angles during side stances to maximize the visual tension of the sheer Stockings and platform boots, or perching on equipment flight cases to weave bodily curves around the mechanical props. This journey transcended merely mimicking 2D aesthetics; it was about living within her skin amidst pulsating electronic beats, and the resulting interplay of light, shadow, and framing achieved everything I envisioned.
