[Shimoe Koharu cosplay] Moe Girl with a Kindergarten Vibe at the Outdoor Amusement Park: Blue Archive Cosplay

As a Shimoe Koharu cosplay set, this photo collection shot at an Outdoor amusement park in June is finally organized to share with everyone. The weather was perfect back then, with sunlight filtering through tree leaves to cast dappled light and shadows across the playground, resonating wonderfully with this character's fresh, youthful aura in Blue Archive.

A lot of thought went into the details of this Koharu styling. The oversized pink hoodie jacket, paired with a dark navy pleated skirt, exudes that signature moe charm unique to her. The hat with its red ring halo decoration is very distinctive; combined with the black feather ornaments on both sides, it adds tremendous three-dimensionality to the look. The little black wings on the back, though small, skyrocket the character's cuteness factor when paired with the entire outfit. The yellow crossbody bag serves as a brilliant finishing touch amidst the pink-and-blue palette, brightening up the overall tone. Of course, the most eye-catching element is the white over-the-knee socks in this White tights cosplay style, paired with pink-and-white leather shoes; in an outdoor playground setting like this, it looks both youthful and lively while beautifully flattering body proportions.

In terms of hair and makeup, to stay as true to the character as possible, I chose long, straight light-pink hair, styled with those highly recognizable black hair extensions spliced on both sides, creating rich visual layering in this hot June weather. The red contact lenses lent her overall demeanor a subtle hint of tsundere pride, while the minimalist black choker at the neck made the look appear sharper and more spirited. The shooting location was chosen at an outdoor park packed with play facilities—the slides, rope mesh bridges, wooden benches, and that yellow deer spring rocker horse were all essential elements during that day's shoot. It was truly hot that day, but guided by photographer @超弦, we passionately powered through capturing snapshots across various scenes.

For instance, the shot standing on the rope mesh bridge holding the 'No Entry' stop sign is actually my favorite of the set. Positioned dead center and standing naturally, it showcases the overall silhouette of the outfit while prominently highlighting the slender leg lines brought out by the white socks. There are also shots turning around on the wooden slat bench or crouching beside the yellow tunnel pipe waving hello—each posture transitioned smoothly and naturally. Riding the spring rocker horse in the park allowed me to relax completely, bringing out the character's endearing gap-moe trait. The photographer was adept at utilizing natural sunlight to make skin tones appear translucent, while adjusting compositions in real time to keep the subject anchored at the visual center.

Beyond faithfully reproducing the character's attire, what mattered even more was experiencing the inherent charm of the character throughout the process. Looking at the finished photos, it truly carries that touch of childlike innocence mixed with stubborn, adorable cuteness. Moreover, the high-saturation yellow and blue background of the outdoor playground wonderfully accentuates the soft pink of the outfit. Although this was shot in June, the final photos burst with vibrant summer energy. From costume quality to the harmony of wigs and props, everything hit its prime condition during that day's shoot.

As a cosplayer who has completed many cosplay sets, Koharu's kindergarten style gave me a uniquely refreshing shooting experience. It didn't require overly complex sets; simple, bright outdoor playground facilities paired with cheerful, colorful clothing easily produced great photos. Post-processing also preserved the comfortable, organic skin texture of the raw photos without excessive smoothing, retaining that authentic day-at-the-park feel. Across standing, sitting, or crouching poses, this set recreates the character's trait of trying hard to act stern while being undeniably adorable. Sharing these photos today serves as a creative record for both the photographer and myself, and I hope everyone enjoys this work filled with summer memories.
