This official photoshoot was set in an outdoor scenic area in Chongzuo, where the dappled sunlight filtering through the canopy created truly stunning interplay of light and shadow. To embody Yaoyao's vibrant, energetic spirit, a great deal of thought went into our prep work.

Starting with the wig and headpieces, that pair of oversized bronze-gold spherical hair buns was quite a feat. To prevent them from falling while navigating outdoor paths, I used dozens of bobby pins to anchor them firmly. They carry considerable physical weight, and my neck honestly felt rather sore by the wrap of the shoot. In terms of wardrobe, layering the green vest over a semi-sheer white long-sleeved undergarment felt a bit stuffy in the warm weather, but seeing the final visual payoff made every ounce of effort worthwhile.

The iconic woven bamboo backpack was my absolute favorite prop, with the crimson tassels on its straps injecting lively movement into the entire silhouette. On the bottom half, styling the reddish-brown skirt with white pantyhose (White stockings) and knee-high boots accented by orange strappy ties allowed great mobility, making it a joy to shoot along the wooden boardwalks nestled in the woods.

Throughout the shoot, I explored diverse poses to express her personality. For example, seated on the rustic wooden bench, I deliberately extended my legs while reaching a welcoming hand toward the camera to spark an interactive connection. For the back-facing shots ascending stone steps in the forest, I paid special attention to angling the basket just right amidst the fallen leaf-strewn path, striving to evoke the authentic feel of a trek through mountain wilderness. I also tried candid takes peeking out from behind thick tree trunks, as well as poised stills leaning against timber railings with my chin propped in both hands, doing my best to keep expressions vivid and natural.

Cosplaying an anime character with such strong 2D stylized traits requires more than accurate costumes and props; the key is conveying that innocent, cheerful nature. Walking the boardwalks among Chongzuo's lush forested peaks in this attire made me genuinely feel like that young junior disciple gathering herbs across the wild. Though the shoot demanded quite a bit of physical stamina, seeing how beautifully the sunlight, shadows, and character blended into a warm, refreshing aesthetic left me deeply fulfilled.
