For the hair, makeup, and costume preparations, the focus was placed on restoring the layered texture of the uniform. The strong contrast between the black long-sleeved jacket and the white apron, the harmony between the black choker and white lace frills at the neckline, and the placement of the white flowers and pink cross hair clips on the head were all crucial, directly determining character recognition. Convention lighting is often chaotic, so we intentionally picked a less crowded, evenly lit darker area. Low-angle upward shooting was the key technique for this set of photos, significantly elongating leg lines, which, paired with white platform shoes and white pantyhose, visually heightened overall body proportions. In terms of posing, lifting one leg allowed the skirt hem to flare naturally, revealing the legs in White stockings to appear more dynamic, cute, and lively. However, skirt fluffiness needed careful control to avoid looking bulky. Thanks again to photographer Da Pan for the framing and timing. In such a noisy convention environment, the photographer accurately captured lighting and motion, utilizing light-and-dark contrast to highlight fair skin tones and costume textures. The chemistry throughout the shoot was seamless—whether stretching a hand forward for interactive shots or glancing back over the shoulder to showcase back lines, both carried great anime energy. Regarding styling with White stockings, maintaining smooth lines requires preventing slips and wrinkles; tights are less prone to slipping down compared to thigh-high socks. The subtle layered glow of the lace trims under low light is a huge bonus for any Convention photo. Temperatures at the convention were high, and wearing long sleeves plus an apron was undeniably hot, but the final photos made it all worthwhile. During costume preparation, skirt folds and apron ties were adjusted through multiple fitting sessions to ensure they held an appealing shape even in dynamic poses. In front of the camera, controlling hand gestures and eye contact enhanced the narrative quality of each frame. The final results largely relied on working with the on-site lighting; pure natural light could hardly achieve such contrast, making this the most noteworthy technical takeaway of the shoot.
