[Asuna cosplay] Bride Dream Only's Blue Flower Sea Staircase Blockbuster

Today at the Bride Dream Only event in Guangzhou, I finally presented this Bride styling of Asuna in its entirety. I prepared for this convention for a long time in advance, refining every single detail from makeup to the costume. Because the original skirt hem is extremely gorgeous, to ensure the photo output effect, I was still ironing the tulle and adjusting the red tassel accessories the night before.

Let's talk about the material and wearing experience of this outfit first. The pink satin fabric carries a strong reflective feel on its own; when walking, the wrinkles and ruffles of the skirt hem have extremely rich layers, with an outer layer of translucent tulle, making the overall wear quite substantial. The headwear and neckwear are a combination of pink flowers and bows; to match the orange-yellow curly hair, the stylist put a lot of thought into braiding and fixing, especially the side braid, which required pinning the flower hair accessories in one by one. In terms of makeup, to match the character's temperament in a specific context, a reddish-pink eyeshadow was chosen for smudging, paired with contact lenses to make the gaze look more focused.

The shooting location was a staircase with dark metal railings, decorated with a large area of blue flowers on-site, and the background featured glowing lines resembling constellation nodes. The cool blue environment and the pink skirt formed a strong color clash. Shooting was actually quite demanding; the long skirt hem and pink high heels were not easy to walk in on the steps, requiring me to constantly hold up the skirt with my hand to avoid tripping while trying my best to maintain an elegant posture. For the sitting posture on the steps in picture 3, to showcase the spreading effect of the skirt hem while displaying the white pantyhose and high heels, the leg posture was adjusted several times. The crossed-leg action required core strength to keep it natural without showing tension.

This time, the goal was to present a gorgeous yet slightly sexy atmosphere, and the combination of white long gloves and layered skirt hems also added a touch of elegant restraint. Actually, every time I cosplay, it feels magical. Even in an environment where virtual and reality intertwine like a convention, being able to express my love for 2D characters in such a concrete way makes the sentiment real. I am very satisfied with the completion level of this Bride styling; thank you to the photographer for capturing these moments, and thank you all so much for liking it.

There were many people at the convention site, and finding this quiet blue flower sea staircase in such a bustling environment was indeed not easy. To avoid the crowds, we seized the time right after the venue opened and right before closing to shoot. Although wearing high heels up and down the stairs was very tiring, seeing the raw photo effects in the camera made everything feel worth it. This set of images retains that dreamy feeling amidst interlaced light and shadow, and it is also my most intuitive expression of this styling. For me, cosplay is not just about putting on a costume, but experiencing the character's state of mind at a specific moment, and this sense of reality will not be overshadowed by nothingness.
