This outdoor photoshoot for Dyadia was chosen in a classical garden with water features, and the overall atmosphere matches the character's temperament very well. As soon as the costume arrived, I checked the accessories. The red-and-white battle robe paired with cyan long hair delivers a strong visual impact. For this shoot, I tested the makeup and styling in advance, especially the eye makeup. To restore the character's gaze, I deliberately chose high-color-development contact lenses, paired with red-toned eyeshadow to deepen the contours.

The light on the shooting day was fantastic; natural light hit the red fabric, making the golden patterns exceptionally clear. Although the costume material is a bit thick, fortunately, the breathability is okay, but the long sleeves and wide sleeve hems easily caught on nearby tree branches or railings when making movements. To showcase the details of this costume, I tried a variety of sitting and leaning postures in front of the lens. When sitting on the stone platform, I deliberately straightened one leg, using a wide-angle lens to elongate the figure while displaying the details of the white stockings and shoes. The sleeve hems have a great drape, so I naturally extended my arms, allowing the sleeves to present natural wrinkles and shapes.

In terms of expression management, because I was moving around outdoors, the state was relatively relaxed, and the gaze needed to maintain a sense of calm and liveliness without using overly exaggerated expressions. During the shoot, I frequently communicated with the photographer about angles, such as how to avoid the sleeves being crushed when sitting sideways, and how to use the railing as a foreground to increase the framing's layering. Because the costume features cutout designs, close-fitting anti-exposure measures were also heavily prepared to ensure safety when striking large-range actions.

Outdoor shooting tests physical stamina the most, especially walking back and forth in the garden wearing heels; my calves were extremely sore after a whole day. But seeing the transparent light and shadow in the final photos, with both the costume's texture and skin's glossiness meeting expectations, made all the energy consumed completely worthwhile. This shoot gave me a more concrete sense of reality for characters of this style, accumulating new experience from putting on and taking off the costume to the range of movements. If I shoot a similar style in the future, I will consider bringing an extra pair of flat shoes for transitions.
