[Vivian cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Anti-Gravity Moments in the Night Scene - Image 1

Against neon-crisscrossed ground and purple linear lighting effects, we completed an intensely dramatic night shoot. The frame freezes at the moment the prop is gently tossed into the air, where surrounding halos and ground light trails create a cyberpunk geometric aesthetic.

To capture the essence of Vivian, the makeup specifically emphasized cool-toned eyeshadow contrasting with the white hair, allowing detachment and elegance to coexist in her gaze. The elf ears were custom-made to blend seamlessly with my skin tone and the edges of the hairstyle.

Regarding the costume, this black-and-white color-blocked miniskirt features a crisp, structured cut; the wide white cuffs and black ruffled waist sashes in particular offer rich dimensional layers from every angle. For the legs, a matte Black tights outfit paired with chunky platform heels visually elongated the proportions while providing sturdy support for the standing poses required during this Night photography session.

The prop is styled like a black-and-white folding umbrella; once opened, it forms an annular circle with a translucent floral structure in the center that refracts faint glimmers under streetlights. Echoing the caption "We have all the time in the world," it enhances the feeling of time standing still.

Outdoor night shooting is actually very challenging. The wavy purple light strips on the ground were not laser projections but real decorative lights, requiring us to find the right camera angle so the light trails extended naturally along the body's trajectory. To avoid the wind when tossing and catching the umbrella, we attempted the move more than a dozen times while maintaining dynamic balance on one foot, tightening the core and keeping the back straight. Fortunately, photographer @YY is exceptionally skilled at capturing motion, seizing this most relaxed and graceful moment where flying white hair strands harmonized perfectly with the leaping action.

This also reminded me that "having all the time in the world" probably means being able to completely forget the outside world's pace during cosplay preparation and shooting, pouring all energy into refining the character and details. Makeup, costume fitting, scouting locations, adjusting lighting—every step stretches time and enriches the final photo.

When selecting the final photos, I loved the atmosphere created by the low-angle lighting most. The folds of the skirt hem looked exquisitely textured in the rim-side backlighting, and the light reflections across the Black tights outfit and shoes were nicely balanced. The simple black-and-white color scheme combined with purple ambient light conveyed the character's cool detachment without overwhelming the scene. I hope this portrayal of Vivian through the lens lets you feel the serenity and poise of the night.
