This photoshoot taken on-site at the anime convention features Nemugaki Fubuki from Blue Archive. The pink donut prop in hand paired with long twin-tails in a blue-and-white gradient offered distinct 2D recognition amid the convention crowd while maintaining a casual everyday feel.

To recreate the character's temperament, the overall styling emphasized a light-toned innocence. The eye makeup used a lustrous pinkish-red tone blended widely beneath the eyes, which, paired with vibrant red contact lenses, drew the visual focus directly to the face. The prominent pink hollow halo overhead color-coordinated nicely with the light blue beret. The wig had its parting and bangs trimmed softly in advance; the dark blue gradient at the tips looked completely natural, swinging with lively vitality when walking around. For the outfit, the core piece was a loose white zippered jacket with a flattering silhouette, worn open to reveal the light aqua shirt and golden buttons underneath in clean layers. The dark blue armband with white geometric patterns on the left arm was another crucial detail faithful to the character, immediately signaling her lore and identity.

The biggest highlight of this shoot was the natural lighting condition. The high-ceilinged architecture of the venue introduced bright diffused light, making the hair strands and facial contours look remarkably soft. Collaborating with the photographer, we confirmed the framing ratios carefully; the static shot selected from this set was relatively the most complete, centering the subject in the frame with hand gestures that felt relaxed yet subtly playful, cleanly displaying the star-shaped sugar sprinkles on the donut prop. To prevent shine and oiliness caused by moving through convention crowds, I used a sheer matte setting powder, keeping the makeup looking clean under the transitional indoor-outdoor lighting.

Holding this donut prop was actually tricky—I had to avoid damaging the surface decorations while conveying a leisurely enjoyment of snacking in front of the lens. During shooting breaks, I took brief walks around the venue, soaking in the ambient energy of the crowd; photos taken in such authentic environments often carry far more vitality. A major reason for choosing this cosplay was my love for Fubuki's seamless blend of nonchalance and everyday life—it never feels like rigid roleplay, but rather as if the character genuinely stepped out of Blue Archive to line up for donuts like everyone else.

Without forcing complex backdrops, relying entirely on genuine on-site light and shadow along with prop details to showcase her charm preserved the pure joy of that day's shoot. In this photo set, the cuteness of an anime loli character from Blue Archive blends harmoniously with the lively convention floor. Being able to present these subtle colors and textures as a cosplayer is an immensely satisfying experience in itself.
