This set of photos features the Chinese girl styling created for this Fan Content Festival. For the shoot, I used a relatively raw mirror selfie approach; since I had to hold the phone to cover my face, facial expressions were restricted, placing the core focus of the entire shoot on body language, costume silhouette, and the texture of the Black tights outfit. The modified red Chinese frog-button top paired with a white ruffled apron, along with a black mini skirt and detached sleeves, inherently creates a striking visual contrast. To make the overall look harmonize better with the theme, I specifically wore black tights, where the pairing of black stockings and the red top produced distinct layering under the light. Before shooting, I carefully checked the lighting setup at home; to bring out the rich texture of the red fabric, I positioned the left fill light slightly higher, which not only illuminated the golden embroidery threads on the costume but also gave the highlights on the black tights a more natural sheen. In terms of posing, I experimented with different exertion points: in Photo 1, the single-leg standing pose pointing forward required solid core control to maintain balance, beautifully accentuating leg lines; Photo 2 is a seated pose that I personally love from this series, extending both legs forward to utilize perspective foreshortening to lengthen leg proportions, while the foreground foot near the mirror frame adds depth and compositional intrigue; Photo 3 takes a softer approach with a kneeling posture. Balancing framing with fluent body lines actually resulted in quite a high outtake rate during the shoot; mirror selfie angles are hard to nail on the first try, requiring constant repositioning of the mirror and my stance. Sometimes standing in black tights on the carpet was a bit slippery, making foot grip equally important. While recreating the Chinese girl look, this photo set focused heavily on presenting clean silhouette lines. I originally wanted to try more dynamic action poses, but limited by room space and mirror dimensions, I ultimately selected these three shots for the final showcase. In any case, this photoshoot experience was truly engaging, giving me fresh insights into expressing a character's allure purely through body language, and the overall atmosphere aligned well with my expectations.
