This was my first Night view shoot, photographed by Wenke. I wanted this set to serve as a complete pose reference and shooting experience guide for night scenes. The lighting that night was complex—streetlamps, neon signs, and car headlights all mixed together. Wenke handled lighting with great professionalism, using off-camera flash and reflectors to balance the light ratio across my face and legs, while wide-aperture lenses blurred background light sources into round bokeh balls, adding rich depth.

For posing, the first shot featuring a lifted leg is tailor-made for a Night view: keeping the toes slightly pointed and anchoring the weight on the back leg not only showcases the texture of the Black stockings and leather shoes, but also maximally elongates leg lines. Dynamic poses against blurred night backdrops photograph effortlessly. Rather than standing stiffly, incorporate handheld props—swinging a black leather bag or holding it out extends arm lines, while raising a boba cup to mask part of the face adds a playful touch of mystery.

In composition, Wenke utilized low-angle perspectives, using steps, benches, and railings as foreground frames to enhance visual depth. Expression control mattered too: instead of smiling constantly, gazing at the cup or looking directly into the lens with chin resting on both hands increased intimacy. Seated outside the café with legs neatly crossed and the bag resting on my lap created a quiet, composed posture.

For the Outfit, I selected a pink-and-black dress featuring black lace trim and a bowknot, paired with a black pleated skirt, over-the-knee Black stockings, platform loafers, and Twintails adorned with ribbon clips, blending sweet and dark aesthetics. Stockings reflect evening light far more dramatically than during the day. Wenke patiently cued chin tucks, shoulder tension, and positioning under different lights, making this an insightful guide to dynamic night shoots.
