Completing this Tighnari cosplay shoot on the Fenglongwan Cherry Blossom Little Train at Aladdin Town was even more fitting for the character's atmosphere than imagined. This retro-style train runs through a pink sea of flowers; the natural scenery and railway elements directly recreate the visual sense of the platform in the game, requiring almost no extra staging. During the shoot, I focused on utilizing the train's window frames and door structures for composition—such as leaning against the railings or standing in the middle of the tracks—allowing the metallic texture of the carriages to contrast with the soft cherry blossoms, making the layers of the frame much richer.

Regarding the details of this costume, the white skirt hem and golden wings show great texture under natural light. However, strong external light easily causes overexposure, so the diffused light of the morning or evening is most ideal. I chose several different angles: standing on the tracks in front of the train locomotive, blurring the background highlights the character and the cherry blossom tunnel; sitting by the window utilizes the curtains and light to create a hazy sense of boundaries, making the photos closer to the narrative feel of the game's CG. Additionally, the dark green and gold decorations of the little train itself pair beautifully with Tighnari's red and white hair color, maintaining color unity.

This shoot did not intentionally pursue complex movements; instead, it combined with the dynamic lines of the train, such as simulating light steps when boarding or a relaxed state of leaning against the handrails. Since the blossoming period is limited, the shooting rhythm was quite tight. Fortunately, the environment itself was outstanding enough, so slightly adjusting the positions could capture different shot scales. The accompanying photographer helped a lot, especially in capturing the exact moments when petals drifted down, adding a touch of dynamism to the frame.

In addition to regular full-body and half-body photos, I also tried a few low-angle upward shots, using the tracks and gravel as the foreground to enhance the depth of the frame, which also carries more of a sense of embarking on a journey. White clothing easily looks thin against a pink background, so post-processing slightly lowered the highlights to preserve the texture of the clothes, making the texture more realistic. Overall, this scene in Fenglongwan shares a high degree of compatibility with the style of Honkai: Star Rail. As long as you find the right light and composition, you can effortlessly capture a Cosplay location shoot filled with an anime atmosphere for a perfect Spring Stroll recollection.
