Today's shoot for Eleg's Gymnastics uniform featured a quintessentially sporty character design. The cropped top showcases yellow-and-white color blocking with four black accent dots across the chest, exposing the waistline. The bottoms are yellow lace-up athletic shorts knotted with slender side strings, styled with over-the-knee White stockings and yellow leg strap bands. This combination visually elongates the legs and, true to the character's signature silhouette, accentuates full curves and muscular definition—delivering that coveted Thick thighs effect.

The location was scouted in an indoor athletic training hall packed with sports gear: wire carts brimming with soccer balls and volleyballs, tiered metal stall bars, blue tumbling mats, and a numbered '15' signage board. For the first set of poses, leaning against the multi-level metal stall bars required angling my torso precisely to create a sense of full-body extension. Maneuvering around the narrow framework demanded caution, and threading a leg through the horizontal rungs relied heavily on core engagement for balance while maintaining a relaxed, natural facial expression. The second sequence transitioned onto the blue gym mat: resting with one knee drawn up while letting the other leg drape casually, tugging gently at the hem of my top to inject dynamic movement. Shooting from a slight three-quarter front angle, the photographer beautifully emphasized the garment tailoring and silhouette, keeping the thigh-high sock cuffs and harness straps in crisp focus.

The entire session required ongoing attention to micro-details: adjusting the sock line height, directing the playful ahoge strand on the wig, checking garment fit, and fine-tuning strap tension. To showcase smooth, defined leg contours, I ran through light stretches prior to shooting to ward off stiff postures. Even in an indoor venue, holding challenging stances and dialing in the key lights took substantial stamina. The background sports gear and locker signage lent grounded authenticity, integrating the athletic concept seamlessly. Cosplay is never just about replicating an outfit—it hinges on channeling a character's kinetic energy and athletic spirit through posture and expression. Because the jersey fabric is lightweight, keeping an eye on folds and hems was essential to avoid awkward wrinkles. Reviewing the raw files, I was thrilled with the soft shadow rendering along the legs, and I'll continue refining the final grading to capture Eleg's charm to the fullest.
