The biggest headache when shooting this Ram Swimsuit cosplay was the water temperature. Even with warm water in the bathtub, as soon as I emerged from the water, the cold indoor winter air rushed right against my skin, especially when wearing only a thin sheer skirt and over-the-knee socks. To capture the moment water droplets trickled down the clothes, I had to repeatedly enter and exit the water, making the process quite an ordeal. For gear, we used an X-S20 with Viltrox lenses; considering the narrow bathtub space, we chose focal lengths that best accentuated leg lines. The difficulty of underwater shooting lies in water refraction making legs appear shorter, so poses had to be intentionally adjusted to use buoyancy and gravity to elongate lines, while balancing the translucency of White stockings in water and the floating flow of the skirt hem. Ram is a character with a tsundere personality, so for facial expressions, I restrained cute smiles and adopted a slightly aloof, mildly shy demeanor to match the character's essence. Regarding lighting, natural light filtering through window blinds served as the key light, with slight bounced fill light in the tub to brighten skin tone, giving the entire setting a very clean and translucent look. The soaked dress sticking to the skin during this Wet photoshoot was actually quite uncomfortable, and holding poses was tough, but for the sake of the atmosphere on camera, the hardship was totally worth it. During the shoot, I also noticed that combining a Swimsuit with over-the-knee socks creates a distinctive material contrast underwater, which was the visual focal point this photo set aimed to convey. The photographer's timing was precise—the gentle ripples of water intersecting with the underwater motion of the fabric perfectly created a dreamy yet authentic texture. Meticulously refining every detail captured on lens alongside the ambient environment ensured the final result was faithful to Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-.
