Presenting this completed cosplay photoshoot of Shimoe Koharu from Blue Archive. This costume is packed with subtle details: the black sailor suit jacket features a white sailor collar with pink piped trim, with matching tones across the cuffs and necktie, alongside a finely textured insignia decal on the left sleeve. For the lower half, a red pleated skirt pairs with slouchy white stockings and black uniform loafers to visually stretch the legs. The beret and dual-toned pink-and-blue wig serve as the look's signature elements; styling them took substantial effort, especially blending the dark blue streaks seamlessly at the roots to avoid looking artificial.

We chose a classic traditional classroom as our shooting location. The natural wood desks, chalkboards, and wooden storage lockers resonated perfectly with the character's everyday school life. The biggest hurdle during shooting was the prop gun marked with 'JUSTICE'—though crafted from dense foam, holding it raised for extended takes, especially in kneeling postures, left my arms aching. To flatter bodily contours, the photographer utilized numerous high-angle overhead shots, accentuating slender leg lines and balancing lower-body proportions. We explored three primary poses: kneeling upon the desk for an innocent, demure feel; seated holding the gun for intense eye contact; and a single-leg stance to channel playful charm. Throughout the shoot, I continuously adjusted the sock folds and skirt pleats to keep everything looking effortless on camera. Lighting utilized a softbox paired with side fill light, preserving fine hair textures while creating a vivid color contrast between the crimson skirt and dark jacket against the classroom's depth. Makeup leaned toward an adorable peach-pink palette to emphasize an innocent gaze and defined double eyelids, complementing the character's contact lenses for an exceptional overall finish. Prop fidelity and streamlined gear management were standout successes of this shoot. Wrapping up and spotting 'JUSTICE' resting under the desk brought shared laughter with the photographer, capping off a truly delightful photoshoot experience.
