[Yuno Cosplay] Wuthering Waves Character Outdoor Shoot: A Bench Perspective in Blue and Gold - Image 2

I have finally wrapped up portraying Yuno from Wuthering Waves, and this shoot was set right next to a park bench. The overall styling primarily features a white, blue, and gold color scheme; the geometric embroidery and crescent moon metal accessories on the costume look quite textured in the sunlight. The wig features a large blue-and-white gradient, a color that is very particular about lighting, but shooting under outdoor natural light actually gave it a bit more translucent clarity than a studio shoot. The makeup focuses heavily on the eyes, using pink lower eyeshadow paired with light blue colored contacts to highlight the character's aloof yet sharp gaze as a blue-haired girl.

The shooting poses were divided into two sets. In picture one, sitting barefoot on the bench with the combination of white leg wraps and metal knee pads brings out a closer resemblance to the character's light yet slightly mysterious aura. In picture two, I changed into transparent thick-soled high heels, allowing for a more relaxed posture; raising a hand to brush my hair better showcases the details of the arm armor and tattoos. The metal pendants and armbands attached to the costume are indeed quite heavy, putting considerable pressure on the neck and shoulders, but for accuracy, I could only do my best to maintain an upright posture.

The green of the bench and the plants behind paired unexpectedly well with this character; putting green, white, gold, and blue together makes the frame look very clean. The method of wrapping the straps around my legs was adjusted several times to prevent slipping while ensuring it didn't leave obvious marks. Wanting to balance both aesthetics and comfort for outdoor photography indeed requires preparation in advance. Overall, this costume, makeup, and prop set has many details and is quite tedious to organize, but that is exactly where the fun of cosplay lies. The effect of this photo set turned out more natural than expected today; when the outdoor breeze blows, the ribbons on the costume add a touch of agility. Although the process of portraying Yuno was tough, the final light, shadow, and texture effects serve as an excellent reward for the upfront preparation.
