This time I tried Implacable's nun look. Just securing and adjusting the angles of that halo with radial rays on top of my head and the silver-gray horn-like accessories took quite a bit of effort. The wig is light golden-yellow. To match the character's temperament, I specially adjusted the layers of the bangs so that the hair strands could naturally frame my face. For the eye makeup, a reddish color palette was used to echo those red pupils, combined with blending on the lower eyelids to create an effect that is both distant and carries a touch of mystery.
The black-and-white combination of the costume has great weight. The deep V-neck white tie, the black outer coat, and the leather gloves, paired with the gemstone necklace around the neck, provide a very rich sense of layering. During the shoot, I communicated with the photographer for a long time, wanting to capture that unique sense of divinity characteristic of a nun while carrying a sliver of laziness and ease from the game's setting. The studio lights were set very bright, and the pure white background completely brought out the silhouette of the figure. The contrast between the black leather and the white fabric on the costume looks exceptionally beautiful.
It was actually quite exhausting during the shoot. Although the accessories on top of my head look beautiful, they are a bit heavy, and I had to constantly make sure they didn't tilt, but seeing the final output made it all feel completely worthwhile. This time, besides close-ups, we also shot some half-body compositions. Personally, I really like that profile close-up where my arm is slightly raised and my gaze is cast downward; it feels like it captured that indifferent yet noble temperament. The entire makeup and styling process took about two hours. The wig was trimmed slightly, the eyeliner was drawn sharper than usual, and the lip color selected was a natural nude pink so as not to steal the focus from the eye makeup.
The pattern of the costume is very form-fitting, especially the black lace-up cutout design at the waist, which is both breathable and shapes the body. After putting on that pair of black leather gloves, paired with finger movements, it carries an unexpected amount of tension. While taking photos, I tried different gestures, such as tugging at the collar or lightly resting a hand against my chin, which all fit the character setting beautifully. The texture of the costume's fabric is good; the white section is a slightly elastic cloth that doesn't wrinkle easily, while the black outer cover is a mostly matte material that maintains a low profile under high lights. Paired with the black gemstone pendant at the neck, the overall color matching echoes perfectly.
The photographer's light placement was very meticulous, giving the fine orange lines on the head a glowing effect, and the silver horns also reflected a cold, hard texture under the lights. This collaboration went very smoothly, and the final output basically achieved the desired effect. I hope to continue challenging more characters with such a strong sense of design in the future in Anime-style photography blockbusters.
