[Mudrock cosplay] Arknights Summer Swimsuit: Leisure Moments on the Beach Vacation

The finished stills from this Arknights Mudrock summer swimsuit shoot are finally out! The entire session was staged at Ruyuan Film Studio, where the set dressing was executed with immense thought: fine white sand carpeted across the floor, red-and-white striped lounge chaises, leaning surfboards, and beverage tubs brimming with ice and drinks instantly dialed the sun-drenched seaside ambiance to the maximum.

Mudrock's character design is rich with unmistakable motifs, so our styling retained her canon identifiers while introducing summery adjustments. The sculpted black horns held crisp tactile relief, which—alongside elongated elf ears and a blunt-banged white wig—immediately established her presence. To celebrate the coastal theme, bright yellow and pink tropical blossoms accented her hair. The eye makeup leaned into deep crimson tones paired with scarlet cosmetic contacts, highlighting her enigmatic and alluring edge.

For the wardrobe, I wore a black mesh bikini ensemble paired with a floor-length sheer sarong skirt, finished with structured black armbands around the biceps. This textile choice rendered remarkable dimensional depth under studio strobes; spreading the sheer black drapery across the soft sand or draping it over the lounge chair edges enriched the frame's textural complexity. Given the minimalist swimwear cut, body posture demanded acute precision. Perched on a blue-and-white striped deck chair, I explored diverse postures—resting my feet atop the adjacent folding table, arching back into a luxurious stretch, or resting a frosty ice cream sundae glass gently against my cheek.

I coordinated closely with photographer Langlang throughout the day. To evoke her languid nonchalance alongside graceful bodily curves, we prioritized leg extension and crossed-ankle compositions. The frame with my bare feet propped on the folding table required continuous core stabilization, yet the resulting compositional tension was stunning. The sheer black skirt pooled naturally onto the sand, framed by a translucent swim ring and a blue-and-white cooler in the foreground to create a lush, layered composition. Treading barefoot across soft artificial sand prevented foot fatigue, while authentic props like the icy drink buckets and rustic wooden fruit crates made slipping into character feel effortless.

The finished series captures Mudrock's distinctive aura while radiating crisp summer coolness. My personal favorites are the frames with my feet elevated on the table, which radiate an effortless, carefree relaxation. Venturing into this new styling avenue reinforced the supreme control studio photography offers over fine details. Harmonizing the garment's mesh textures with evocative props brought summer vitality and character lore together for an utterly delightful creative journey.
