[Amiya cosplay] Recording Amiya's daily life in a lush green garden

This shoot was actually planned for a long time in advance. Because I've always wanted to try Amiya's blue-and-white plaid styling, considering the character's overall temperament, I decided to arrange the location in a garden with plenty of natural greenery. The sunlight on the day was very abundant, and the light spots filtering through the leaves had a fantastic effect, providing natural light and shadow conditions for the shoot.
In terms of clothing, this blue-and-white plaid skirt has many details. The white apron features blue prints, the cuffs have a fluffy design, paired with red-and-white striped hems, giving the overall visual layering great richness. To match the character, I prepared a brown wig with blue highlights, and a pair of plush-textured rabbit ears. During the shoot, the wearing angle of the rabbit ears needed constant adjustment because they would move with actions, and if they tilted, they wouldn't look energetic enough. The long prop with a rabbit printed on it in my hand is also quite interesting; although it gets a bit heavy after holding it for a while, holding and posing with it in front of the lens indeed helps make body language look more natural.
For the lower body, I chose white over-the-knee long socks and black flat leather shoes, which also fits the overall well-behaved and cute style. When walking in the garden scene, there was quite a bit of soil and fallen leaves, so I had to constantly pay attention to prevent the white stockings from getting dirty. One set of shots involved sitting next to a white chair, where I wanted to express a relatively relaxed and quiet state. The photographer asked me to look naturally at the lens, or tilt my head slightly while playing with my hair, minimizing the stiffness of posing as much as possible.
Later, when moving to the lemon tree set, the yellow-green fruits and the blue skirt formed a wonderful color contrast. To enhance the everyday living feel of the frame, I picked up a wooden tray and sat next to a wicker basket. The setting of this area felt very much like a small farm full of fruity fragrance. During the shooting process, I kept adjusting my sitting posture and gaze direction, hoping to express the character's vibrant yet somewhat innocent feeling. Although the outdoor temperature on that day was a bit high, and the wig and dress were relatively thick, seeing the natural light and transparent colors in the raw photos made all the hard work feel completely worthwhile.
During the actual shooting process, instead of blindly copying the original poses, I also incorporated some of my own understanding of the character. For instance, through small actions like tidying the skirt hem, daydreaming while holding props, or strolling in the garden, I showcased her daily side, making the overall atmosphere look more approachable and natural. The most important thing to watch out for in outdoor shooting is the change in light; sometimes we would pause for a long time just waiting for a cloud to drift away or the wind to blow the leaves open. The photographer was also constantly helping me find angles, trying to avoid messy crowds and buildings to ensure the purity of the background.
The overall style of this photoset is quite fresh, without using overly complex post-processing special effects, mainly preserving the original outdoor light and shadow along with the vitality of the plants. Being able to attentively present a beloved character made it a very joyful shooting experience.
