[Tachibana Nozomi cosplay] Blue Archive Highlander Twins: Zako Sensei at the convention

Focus for this shoot was placed on capturing a mischievous and playful atmosphere, with initial entry poses carefully refined through repeated trial. The photos you see were taken in the audience rest area of a local anime convention; originally we only planned a few quick test shots for props, but the final frames turned out remarkably natural.

For makeup, base makeup was kept exceedingly clean and translucent. To match the setting of the Highlander Twins, emphasis was placed on defining eye makeup. I utilized reddish-brown eyeshadow to extend the lower eyelid line, paired with dense, curled false eyelashes and prominent aegyo sal, making the eyes look lively and expressive. Blush was placed slightly higher on the cheeks, which paired with this dark blue uniform Anime-style outfit to evoke a youthful, clever, and endearing look.

Regarding wardrobe, the dark blue uniform fabric offered balanced structure, supporting the shoulders and collar lines nicely. Gold buttons across the chest and gold piping along sleeve cuffs were hand-repositioned to faithfully reproduce original uniform details. The floating halo prop overhead with green fluorescent glow was finalized after confirming brightness levels and angles with the photographer, yielding superior texture under indoor lighting.

For pose design, I chose to sit cross-legged on a wooden tabletop, pointing my right index finger at the corner of my eye in a candid state of pretend-thinking or teasing. Reflecting the mischievous vibe behind her signature "Zako Sensei" taunt, I avoided serious or rigid commercial angles. Relaxing completely, the pairing of white leggings and dark blue uniform created rich layering under the cool white indoor lighting typical of Anime convention daily life.

The shooting venue was bustling and noisy with heavy foot traffic, but the photographer utilized an 85mm portrait lens, creating smooth background bokeh while preserving depth across the rest hall. Instead of setting up complex commercial lighting, we relied entirely on ambient venue illumination, giving final frames an unforced, natural look. Sitting cross-legged in white tights required adjusting posture several times—balancing a relaxed appearance while ensuring flattering thigh lines and keeping cuff armbands from creasing awkwardly under my legs.

Post-processing color grading focused on enhancing clarity, correcting yellowish indoor ambient light to a cool-toned balance, thereby strengthening contrast between the blue uniform and green wig. Brightness on the overhead halo was subtly boosted, giving it solid presence at the top of the frame as a visual anchor.

Ultimately, I selected these two frames as the most compelling moments. The first close-up shot clearly details facial expressions, playful eye contact, and halo textures; the second medium-long shot incorporates full-body proportions, cross-legged posing, and the surrounding convention atmosphere.
