[Kurodate Haruna cosplay] Searching for Universiade food on the track and field, full of energy with red-and-white sports style

When shooting this Blue Archive Kurodate Haruna cosplay photoshoot on the track and field, the sunlight was at its most abundant in the afternoon. Because the theme was Universiade food hunting, I prepared a lot of snacks and drinks in advance as props, including that box of juice with a straw, a yellow paper bag printed with MOLLY TEA, a coffee takeout paper bag, and a fish-shaped waffle. This red-and-white colored sportswear is very light to wear, featuring red piping on the collar and cuffs of the white T-shirt, matched with red athletic shorts below, and the white side stripe design looks very refreshing. To match Kurodate Haruna's styling, I wore her iconic orange-red concentric circle halo, carried small black wings on my back, and had a long tail with red lines. Installing the props took some time, especially that long tail, which needed to be fixed to the shorts with hidden safety pins. I had to carefully adjust the angles when walking and sitting to prevent it from exposing in front of the lens.

On that day, I wore white mid-calf socks and white lace-up athletic shoes, making the overall look even more full of youthful vitality on the track and field. The scene chosen at the very beginning of the shoot was the red plastic running track. To highlight the character's curves and leg length, the photographer had me try a pose of bending over and looking at the lens. This action not only showcased the overall outfit proportions, but also brought out a vivid sense of slight panting after exercise. Afterwards, I sat on the green ground holding the juice, or sat cross-legged with hands making a heart shape, or sat sideways looking back to show the length of the tail. The backlit effect made the picture look soft, and the silver-white hair exuded a subtle luster under the sunlight.

Because the theme included food hunting, I even ate a waffle on the running track, carrying the purchased drink bag in my hand, pretending to be in a resting state of looking for sideline food during the Universiade. This outfit is visually very vibrant. Although the upper body is a loose T-shirt, under different angles like bending over and sitting sideways, it can still showcase the advantages of the figure, especially the leg lines and waist-abdomen curves. To capture better light and shadow, the photographer switched camera positions back and forth between the running track and the adjacent field, using the grass and the outer fence as a background to avoid cluttered figures as much as possible. The entire shooting process went relatively smoothly; although it was a bit hot under the sun, seeing the backlit translucent imaging effect in the camera, these minor hardships were totally worth it.

Actually, Kurodate Haruna is relatively elegant in her usual settings, but after changing into this sportswear, the focus of the portrayal shifted to liveliness and energy. From the satisfaction of holding snacks to the casual sitting posture on the running track, every action requires mastering a light and brisk feeling. Through this cosplay photoshoot, I found that sports-style attire has a lot of room for expression in outdoor scenes; it doesn't need overly complicated settings, as a playground can hold the frame on its own. Coupled with the food props in hand, it added a bit of everyday atmosphere to the entire photoshoot. Every time I prepare for an outdoor photoshoot—from trying on costumes and assembling props to communicating and cooperating with the photographer on-site—although tedious, it is all part of the complete creation. On this track and field, I restored the character's state under this specific theme in my own way.
