[Xiao Wu cosplay] Soul Land bunny-ear girl's Zhanjiang convention photos

This time I brought out a set of Soul Land Xiao Wu cosplay at the Zhanjiang Yunxige Anime Carnival. The costume as a whole is a pink-and-white battle outfit, paired with iconic pink translucent bunny-ear hair ornaments that feature silver metal pieces and hanging chains at the base, along with a brown braided wig and pink colored contacts. The lower body features white stockings, covered outside by an oversized purple shimmering fabric cape. To capture the effect combining motion and stillness, I found some specific angles at the convention site. For instance, there is a low-angle shot where I lifted my leg to strike a pose, and the skirt hem flew up with the momentum. The purple fabric looked very glossy against the background of the steel frame structure and circular ceiling lights at the top of the venue. There is also a full-body shot from a high-angle perspective, which required fully swinging open the cape. To capture that fleeting moment of the skirt's shape, photographer Huanghun and I repeatedly adjusted positions several times. In the final finished photos everyone sees, the skirt hem spreads out like a flower, and the overall silhouette looks quite imposing.

Actually, wearing this Xiao Wu set to walk around the convention site was quite a test of physical strength, especially since the purple cape material is somewhat heavy. Combined with the wig and head ornaments, it needed readjustment after shooting for a while. However, the lighting on that day was quite good; the towering metal grid ceiling in the venue naturally brought an industrial-style sense of depth, which, combined with the flying fabric, produced light and shadow effects with great layering. In terms of poses, apart from normal standing positions, I also tried a single-leg raise, stretched-out pointing arms, and detailed movements with slightly curved fingers, hoping to showcase the character's lively yet slightly proud feeling. In the convention photos, the leg lines and stockings parts also appeared rather slender when paired with white high-heeled boots. Because the convention photo environment was relatively complex, in post-processing we applied a few cartoon watermelon-rabbit stickers on the face and legs, mainly to cover up some inevitable messy details on-site, which also added a cute element to this set of pictures.

The entire shooting process went quite smoothly, and the atmosphere of the Zhanjiang Yunxige Anime Exhibition was also very good, with everyone being very enthusiastic. This pink battle outfit has many silver and white patches in the details, with dark patterns on the fabric surface that slightly glow under the lighting. From the early-stage clothing organization and wig styling to on-site pose attempts, and later selecting these convention photos featuring flying purple skirt hems, this cosplay work aimed to restore the character's traits as much as possible. Convention photos actually place great emphasis on the coordination of candid capture and angles. I am quite satisfied with the final texture of this set of pictures myself, and I hope everyone likes this kind of Xiao Wu cosplay with a sense of dynamism and venue spatial depth.
