[Amiya cosplay] Arknights x White Rabbit Collaboration, Sweet Moments in Light, Shadow, and Retro Atmosphere

Waking up at 6:30 AM and arriving at the shoot location by 7:00 AM, I was so sleepy that my eyelids were fighting each other. However, the moment I saw the beautifully arranged retro scene and warm lighting, I woke up instantly. The theme for this Anime-style photography session is the collaboration look between Arknights' Amiya and White Rabbit creamy candy. The outfit features a blue-and-white checkered style with a lace apron, preserving her iconic rabbit ears and highlighted braids, making it both playful and sweet. The makeup this time was also specially adapted to the character's traits to give her a lighter, more anime-esque feel. Wanting to capture a lively, slice-of-life feel, we chose an indoor cottage filled with fresh flowers and books; the wooden furniture and European-style decor added rich layers to the visuals. Sunlight filtered through the glass windows onto the floor and bouquets, creating beautiful light spots. To match the vibe of the retro, nostalgic national brand White Rabbit candy, the photographer, He Ling, specially prepared massive soft cushions and afternoon tea dessert props. Whether curling up on the floor holding a plushie or leaning by the table for a lazy moment, every frame is filled with a healing warmth. The happiest part of shooting this set was capturing the character's persona—seemingly fragile yet inherently lively. In terms of posing, we experimented with sitting, leaning, and even a dynamic snapshot with arms wide open; although twisting around was a bit tiring, the final result looks incredibly natural. Enhanced by the textures of the wooden furniture, lace fabrics, and the afternoon light, Amiya's cuteness was absolutely maximized. As a coser, being able to express love for a character through outfits and styling in a real setting is deeply fulfilling. The chemistry with the photographer was excellent, making the entire process wonderful, and the scent of flowers throughout the room completely smoothed away my early morning fatigue. For Amiya's wig styling, we specifically added highlights, which, paired with twin tails and rabbit ears, display a unique layer of colors under the refraction of sunlight. The collaborative White Rabbit plush pillow served as a fantastic prop, highlighting the theme perfectly without overshadowing the character. We shot many slice-of-life actions, like half-squatting and reaching out, or sitting at the boundary of light and shadow with knees hugged, aiming to break away from rigid poses and give Amiya her own narrative in this space. A lot of thought went into the venue selection, makeup adjustments, and prop matching, and I hope the final presentation allows everyone to feel the character's approachability.
