Putting on Kal'tsit's gear, the first thing I noticed was the drape of this deep blue trench coat. To capture the character's efficient yet somewhat distant temperament, the collar and shoulder structures of the coat were given specific tailored patchworking. The silvery-white glossy material on the inside creates a nice contrast under ample natural light, enhancing the sci-fi tech feel. The yellow and black animal ear accessories on my head were adjusted multiple times to ensure they wouldn't look stiff from any camera angle.

The shoot took place near an industrial zone featuring expansive elevated steel trusses and massive concrete silos. These structures, carrying an industrial wasteland vibe, created a wonderful color clash with the vast blue sky. A low-angle shot looking up was crucial; it not only elongated my body proportions but also turned the skyline into a clean backdrop, enhancing the visual tension of the frame. The giant ring-segmented main weapon was the highlight of this industrial style cosplay shoot. The brightness of its internal wiring remained clear even under the sunlight. Meanwhile, the blue and red pistol in my other hand received a custom multi-colored paint job with subtle weathering and wear to avoid looking like cheap plastic.

During the shoot, the trench coat fluttering in the wind provided many great candid moments. Although focusing and composition required higher precision in this environment, the wind-blown hem made the character's aura much more vivid. Regarding this set of work, I believe the greatest advantage of outdoor photography is the dimensionality brought by natural light, eliminating the need to rely heavily on complex studio setups. The blue of the sky and the gray of the buildings served as an excellent backdrop. In post-processing, I only made minor adjustments to the contrast, trying my best to preserve the original color and texture to restore Kal'tsit's calm and resolute image from the storyline. A successful outdoor shoot often requires the perfect harmony of weather, prop preparation, and camera positioning. Being able to capture these details and showcase the texture of the gear this time counts as leaving a satisfying photographic record for this look.
