This time shooting Alice in the white studio, the main goal was to restore her classic styling from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, where she shares a deep bond with Rudy. To highlight the texture of the red hair and the burgundy skirt, a pure white background was intentionally chosen so that the character's silhouette would be clearer when lit.

In terms of clothing, the brown piping details on the white base top are solidly made, with the black bow at the neckline and the brown belt with a metal square buckle at the chest serving as the visual center. The separate white sleeves are fixed to the arms via brown arm bands, retaining the original silhouette while avoiding too much restriction on movement when posing. The lower body is a burgundy knee-length skirt with a layer of black ruffles at the hem. White tights are one of the focuses of this shoot; sitting poses showcase the leg lines nicely, and paired with black patent leather Mary Jane shoes, the overall texture comes together. The wig was chosen as a relatively bright red, and the iconic ahoge (idiot hair) on top of the head and the black hairband basically instantly capture the character's feel once worn. For makeup, a large area of pink shading was applied under the eyes and on the cheeks, matching red contact lenses to try to express her slightly wild yet tender maiden side.

Action design referenced Alice's state at different stages. The kneeling and leaning forward posture, with hands supporting the ground and eyes staring straight into the lens, feels like probing. In the side-sitting looking-back shot, the center of gravity shifts backward with one leg naturally extended, a posture that nicely displays the layers of the white stockings and skirt. The standing pose with both hands grabbing the hair aims to express the impatient, wild side of her personality. The final standing posture with hands crossed hides her sharpness and is quieter. While shooting this photoset, I kept thinking about that promise between her and Rudy. What makes Alice such a touching character is how she gradually learned forbearance and protection from her initial untamable wildness. The words she carved on the wall are not just left for Rudy, but also the epitome of her entire growth trajectory.

The advantage of a studio shoot is that all attention can be focused on the character itself. To restore the three-dimensional feel of the original design, the lighting technician set up three main lights in the white studio, focusing on brightening the facial contours and the reflection of the red hair. The separate sleeves tend to slide down when raising the arms, so the positions of the arm bands had to be constantly adjusted mid-shoot. White stockings easily overexpose under strong light, so the angle of the leg movements was tried many times to maintain the aesthetic of the posture without blurring the details. The whole process felt more like a re-experience of the character's inner world. She isn't just a berserker who only knows how to fight; the emotional changes within her heart during her training at the Sword Sanctum are the most delicate parts.

Shooting this set of photos was quite physically demanding because although the clothing looks simple, the binding sense of the belts and metal buckles is relatively strong, and the long straight wig easily tangles, requiring a long time to tidy up every time a pose changed. However, seeing the clean light and shadow of the white studio and the high accuracy in the final photos, all these troubles are nothing. I hope everyone likes this accuracy-oriented Alice photoset.
