[Formidable Cosplay] Azur Lane Formidable Bunny Girl Photoshoot Share

This set of Azur Lane Formidable bunny girl cosplay photoshoot is finally completed. Ever since deciding on this look, I held high expectations for the clothing details and the color presentation of the frame. This time, I chose to shoot on a dark red European retro sofa, where the black wooden carved frame paired with the bright red velvet cushion forms a strong visual contrast with my black-and-white bunny girl outfit, allowing the character to stand out beautifully from the background.

The light blonde long wig and the black and white plush-textured bunny ears are the iconic elements of this styling. To restore that fluffy yet gorgeous texture in front of the lens, a long time was spent grooming beforehand. The upper body is a white off-the-shoulder crop top, featuring voluminous bubble sleeves with wide black lace trim at the cuffs, which, paired with the black bowtie at the neckline, adds layers while bringing out a touch of elegant girlish flair. The lower body's semi-translucent black tights outfit is paired with a thigh ring adorned with white lace trim and black dangling straps, along with white pointed high heels on my feet, filling the overall black-and-white color-blocked look with the exquisite touch characteristic of anime characters.

The shooting process was both enjoyable and a bit torturous. In the first photo, I adopted a relatively relaxed sitting posture, with legs naturally crossed and toes lightly touching the ground. This angle is relatively easy to control, beautifully displaying the upper body structure of the costume and the overall lazy temperament. However, to look for a more stunning composition, we tried a high leg-lift pose for the second image. An seemingly simple action, needing to maintain smooth leg lines and straightened toes while keeping overall balance, places a high demand on core strength and muscular endurance. After shooting a few takes of that set of movements, I couldn't help but complain to the photographer that the phrase "numb feet" was absolutely my most authentic experience at that moment.

For the makeup design, I specifically chose pinkish eyeshadow and blush, paired with a touch of light lip makeup, trying to neutralize the intense coldness brought by the black and white clothing, hoping to add some of that lazy and slightly tsundere temperament unique to Formidable. During the shoot, the lighting positions were also repeatedly adjusted to let the black stockings and patent leather shoe surface present a reflective texture while avoiding overexposure in the highlights that would lose the clothing's lace details. The photographer cooperated wonderfully, capturing many natural and vivid snapshots.

Seeing the final photoshoot come out, I feel all the exhaustion was worth it. This is not only a high-level restoration of the clothing and styling, but also a hope to restore the atmosphere of this character in my heart through the combination of light, shadow, and scenery. Looking back at the photoshoot, I can clearly recall the sensation of exertion and muscle soreness during the shoot, but these minor challenges also form the most vibrant part of the entire creative process. This Cosplay photography experience gives me more ideas and expectations for the next shoot.
