Recently, I took some mirror selfies of the Kyoyama Kazusa field sportswear look from Blue Archive. Paired with a Hachimi cosplay cat ear headband and pink-and-black hair accessories, it perfectly matches the funny meme of "ready to hiss."
A friend asked about the details of this outfit before, so taking advantage of these photos, I'm sharing my outfit and shooting experience today. The jacket is a black sporty hooded jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and pockets. This loose-fitting sports jacket doesn't look bulky; instead, it gives off a casual and energetic vibe. The metallic texture of the jacket zipper is also quite nice, showing a slight luster in the mirror. The inner top is a white sailor collar shirt with dark green piping at the neckline, paired with a bright pink wide bow tie with white horizontal stripes. The color collision of black, white, green, and pink is very classic and highly recognizable. The skirt is a matching white pleated mini skirt with a green trim at the hem, perfectly echoing the neckline design.
For the lower half, I paired it with solid black tights. The black tights outfit can be considered the finishing touch of this look, as it modifies the leg shape and creates a visual layering effect with the white skirt and black jacket, keeping the overall look from being monotonous. Because I wanted to maintain a bit of mystery, I used stickers to cover my face, guiding the visual focus entirely to the character's clothing, cat ear accessories, and overall atmosphere.
The phrases in the post, "You are a soft, sweet, and cute little cake" and "You only love the online me," are actually very interesting teasing. As a cosplayer, we often show our best side in front of the camera, perhaps cute and energetic, but in private, there are times when we get crazy and want to "hiss." This is actually a switch between character and reality. Putting on this outfit and wearing the cat ears allows me to temporarily put down the troubles of reality and immerse myself in the world of another cute character.
Although this mirror selfie was simple, I think it captured the character's features very well.
