This set of cosplay photos from the live zzzfes event went very smoothly, and the props and background elements provided at the venue matched the character very well. I put a lot of thought into the overall accuracy of this shark girl outfit, especially the giant tail, which can be said to be the soul of the entire look.

Let's talk about the details of the clothing first. The upper body uses a black glossy short-sleeve top, with white ruffles spliced at the neckline and cuffs, and small functional-style decorative straps on the shoulders, preventing the upper body from looking too monotonous. The wide black choker on the neck paired with a silver metal ring sets a cold basic tone. The lower half of the skirt is an apron-style design with a black base and white edges, featuring an eye-catching large white pentagram pattern right in the front, accented with red bows and straps. The hem of the skirt consists of multiple layers of overlapping ruffles, providing a great sense of layering and fluffiness when walking or sitting.

Hairstyle and makeup are also key focuses of this look. The short black hair retains asymmetrical hair bundle textures on both sides, with blunt bangs and vibrant red streaks at the ends. The red streaks are unified with the red eyeshadow and eye color, perfectly conveying the character's unique cool vibe. The white ruffled headband integrates nicely with the overall look, and the wide neck choker acts as a visual constraint.

Another thing that must be mentioned is the shark tail prop. This is an extremely thick and long black monster tail with a scaly texture, featuring black and white painting at the front and red tags with white letter patterns on the sides, full of detailed textures. Wearing this tail in reality is very heavy; not only do you have to support its weight, but you also have to maintain a straight or curved shape in front of the camera, which consumes quite a bit of physical energy. However, once it appears in the frame, the character's atmosphere instantly comes to life, and the audience on-site was very interested in this big tail.

Speaking of the leg pairings, black pantyhose feature eye-catching dark diamond-patterned graphics on the front of the thighs, and this mesh texture looks particularly effective in front of the camera. Paired with black patent leather high heels with metal buckles, the sides of the heels also feature red color block decorations, which echo the red elements on the hair tips and skirt. Under the exhibition lights, the glossy black material and the matte texture of the stockings form a great visual layer contrast.

During the on-site shooting session, we tried two main composition methods: standing and sitting. When sitting, the legs are crossed, which not only nicely displays the diamond-patterned graphics on the stockings but also allows the tail to naturally coil on the ground, creating a very balanced overall frame. In contrast, the standing posture holding the red lollipop prop requires more effort to control the center of gravity of the tail. Overall, the sitting profile photo holding the lollipop prop is best suited as the cover image for this shoot in terms of composition. The character is in the very center of the frame, uncropped by the borders, and the overall frame structure is complete, naturally showcasing the lines of the black stockings and legs, reflecting a state of relaxation yet with a hint of oppression.

Background decoration is also a big plus, with a light-colored wooden long table paired with a metal fence cage prop, and a blue-background cartoon poster of a white cat with related letters behind it. The overall exhibition setup has a very urban fantasy ACG atmosphere. Supported by the exhibition atmosphere of Zenless Zone Zero Fes, putting on this equipment and posing with the character's demeanor instantly maximizes the compatibility with the character. For the character Ellen Joe, I feel that besides precisely replicating the appearance, grasping her body language and eye state is also crucial. During this shooting process, I kept trying to capture this atmosphere of being both free and slightly dangerous, and I hope the effect presented in the lens makes everyone satisfied. Being able to vividly restore the character in a real scene at a comic convention event and take photos of decent quality is a very happy thing for me.
