This time, a lot of thought went into matching the costume and the scene for character accuracy. The dress, dominated by white and blue, is paired with a bright orange-red wig, along with countless details on the headpiece like purple flowers, vines, and pearl strands. During editing, I tried my best to preserve the costume's original lightness and water-ripple texture.

The shooting scene selected was a pure white iron bed covered with a soft white plush blanket, adorned with some large white paper flowers and multi-colored simulation bouquets. Since the costume itself features many blue-and-white gradient elements, this bright and soft high-key lighting can maximize the embroidery textures and lace edges on the clothes without darkening the makeup.

Let's talk about the makeup and hair first. This time I wore blue-green colored contacts, which actually formed an excellent warm-and-cool contrast with the orange-red hair color, making the gaze look clearer and more spirited. The golden pendant on the forehead and the pearl hair accessories on both sides serve as perfect accents. The makeup is relatively light and natural, retaining a slice of softness in the facial contours to match the ethereal setting of the outfit itself.

This outfit has quite a unique cut—off-the-shoulder paired with long, independent detached sleeves. The separated arm design offers massive space when posing, without constraining movements. The blue water-ripple texture on the sleeves is three-dimensional rather than a simple print, offering an excellent texture. The lower body is paired with a semi-sheer tulle skirt hem and blue ribbons staggered in various depths, allowing the skirt to spread out naturally when walking or sitting.

To mention a perspective I heavily like in this set of photos, it's the one where I sit on the iron chair resting my chin on one hand, displaying the details of the upper body and the white lace thigh ring on the leg. The lower edge of the thigh ring also features a hollowed-out pattern design, making the lines look exceptionally long through the negative space between it and the boots. The blue long boots, or rather the leg-guard sleeves, also feature fine outlined borders and end with a small purple bow at the ankle, maintaining overall color unity and detail echo.

The weather was very muggy when shooting this dreamy photoshoot set. Although there was air conditioning indoors, wearing this kind of costume and wig for several hours was bound to be a bit of a burden. Fortunately, the atmosphere of the on-site setup was quite cozy, and seeing the natural ripples created by light and shadow on the fabric when finally selecting photos made me feel that the early preparation and venue setup were completely worth it.

Wearing this kind of multi-layered dress poses a significant test of stamina to maintain the clothes' smoothness and flowing feel. Especially for those ribbons and the skirt hem, they need to be rearranged every single time a movement changes to let the fabric better fit the body's curves. Fortunately, the photographer was very patient, fine-tuning angles bit by bit with me, and ultimately found several relatively natural and stretched postures. The shots of lying down or tilting my head back were actually candid captures during brief rests, appearing even more relaxed than deliberately struck poses. This posture with a touch of laziness complements the overall light and dreamy backdrop beautifully.

Actually, I care quite a bit about the consistency of the overall visual experience—ensuring both that facial expressions are presented naturally before the camera and that the transitions between body lines and clothing don't look rigid. The semi-sheer tulle skirt and glossy material paired this time produce a highly soft refraction under the lights, avoiding overexposed highlights. Post-processing primarily made minor adjustments to the color atmosphere to make the blue and white cleaner and more translucent, while preserving the soft feel of the warm lights. It felt genuinely joyful to see the blue-and-white gradient on the clothes, the lock decorations at the waist, and all those small pearl accessories clearly revealed in the final output.
