The costume details of this Robin outfit were much more intricate than expected. For the three-dimensional purple origami-textured skirt hems at the collar and sleeve cuffs, a lot of pre-shaping treatment was done to maintain their crisp form during the shoot; basically, even a slight press required immediate adjustment. The metallic halo above the head was actually secured to the wig cap using transparent fishing line, while also ensuring the white flower decorations remained at the best angle, so I unconsciously exercised caution during any large movements. The wig was chosen in a grey-toned light blue, with the hair ends slightly micro-curled, paired with blue eyes and a reddish eyeshadow gradient to closely match this exquisite doll-like feel. To avoid disrupting the wig texture, a wide-tooth comb was used during styling, adjusting the position of the bangs bit by bit. The overall color palette is dominated by white, purple, and blue, supplemented by gold piping and star decorations; the golden circular metal piece on the waist side is quite weighty and sways with the skirt when walking. To anchor the ethereal vibe of the skirt, the lower body was paired with white stockings and blue chunky-heeled Mary Jane shoes, which also feature cross-star echoes on the uppers, creating a well-balanced overall color scheme. The legs actually wore white pantyhose, requiring caution against snagging during movement and posing—especially in the birdcage scene where there are many metal edges, so I could only relax my muscles as much as possible to cooperate. The bowtie part of this outfit has metal buttons, and care had to be taken during shooting to avoid reflections affecting the image. The location this time chose a European-style indoor setting with a large crystal chandelier and checkered windows, complemented by a black grand piano. For the piano-playing profile with light streaming in from behind, the photographer adjusted the camera angle for a long time to capture that sense of translucency. With hands placed on the keys, although it was just a posed shot, the posture needed to be relaxed and not too stiff. When shooting inside the metal birdcage, curling the body with thighs pressed together allowed the layers of the skirt and the lines of the legs to be displayed, while the texture of the white stockings became more pronounced in slightly dimmer light. To create a slight sense of melancholy, the gaze looked slightly downward instead of at the camera. During standing poses, one must remember to keep the back straight, because the upper half of the outfit is relatively loose, and slouching makes it easy to look listless. Hand gestures paired with white gloves added a touch of elegance. The lighting for this shoot mainly followed a bright high-key style, which not only captured fair skin tones but also brought out the glossiness of the clothing fabrics. Especially the dark patterns on the purple fabric and the reflections on the blue skirt required ample lighting. Although wearing this outfit while moving around the studio and squeezing into the birdcage consumed a lot of energy, seeing the magnificent feel presented in the final photos, the results truly met expectations.
