[Tachibana Hikari cosplay] Blue Archive Highlander Twins Melon Ice Cream Themed Classroom Snapshots

The theme for this shoot was crystal clear: to present the character of Tachibana Hikari alongside the refreshing sweetness of Melon ice cream. Within the universe of Blue Archive, the Highlander Twins lore inherently carries a strong sense of sci-fi and athleticism, so we specifically chose a classroom studio flooded with natural light. Choosing this venue aimed to leverage that clean, luminous ambiance, giving the entire photo set a crisp, refreshing visual feel. The classroom desks, chairs, and curtains fit the everyday slice-of-life atmosphere perfectly; drawing back the curtains slightly to let diffused natural light flood in made the subject look wonderfully soft.

For makeup and styling, I dedicated considerable effort this time. To match the Melon color palette, I selected an eye-catching pale green long wig that exhibited beautiful gradient layers under the light. To complement the overall translucency, base makeup was kept light and sheer, focusing on warm yellow tones in the eye makeup to echo the green, paired with amber contact lenses to naturally exude a gentle, innocent aura. Peach-pink blush was applied across the cheekbones for a healthy, vibrant flush. Elf ears are the soul element of the character's design; to make them look seamless, I blended a layer of foundation along the ear edges and carefully adjusted the angle to ensure zero telltale seams.

The photographer, 汗衫, excels at capturing organic expressions, chatting about character lore while guiding my posing. Since the classroom setting has rigid architectural lines, I chose a half-crouching pose—leaning slightly forward with my right hand propping up my chin and my left hand resting naturally on my knee. This not only appeared relaxed, but also allowed the White stockings to visually elongate my leg lines. The sailor uniform had a tailored, form-fitting cut; the navy stripes on the collar and cuffs looked crisp against the white base. I specifically ironed the outfit beforehand to ensure no stray wrinkles compromised the texture.

During post-production color grading, I dialed in the saturation and contrast, allowing slight, deliberate overexposure in the lighting to simulate that crisp, icy Melon ice cream freshness. Due to the character's specific halo design above her head, a green geometric icon was added in post-production to echo the wig's color. With a centered composition, the background desks and chairs were softly blurred with a wide aperture, making the subject stand out prominently. When retouching the White stockings, I preserved their original fabric texture so they wouldn't wash out into chalky flat white under soft light, while retaining a warm, dimensional layering.

Doing cosplay is truly physical work, especially in a classroom during summer, wearing a stuffy wig and ear adhesive while maintaining a bright smile. Yet seeing the fresh, natural final photos always makes it feel completely worthwhile. The universe of Blue Archive is packed with modern and futuristic charm; combining Tachibana Hikari cosplay and the Highlander Twins elements with this subtly sweet Melon ice cream theme was a delightful experiment.
