The set shared today is Robin cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail; these photos serve as a few preview shots that I personally love from this shoot. The overall theme was anchored on "angel" and "music," so both the styling and post-production leaned heavily in this direction.

Starting with the hair and makeup: for this look, I chose a gradient blue wig that closely matches the character lore. When trimming, I paid special attention to layered edges to prevent the wig from looking overly bulky. For eye makeup, echoing the overall clean color palette, light green colored contact lenses served as the visual focal point to give the gaze a clearer luminescence, paired with a sheer, dewy lip makeup to convey an otherworldly, ethereal grace.

This White dress cosplay ensemble required substantial effort in its intricate details: the entire gown was generously adorned with sequins and shimmering tulle, reflecting a sparkling, wave-like shimmer under lighting. The sleeves featured subtly puffed shoulders which, combined with the pearl chains decorating the gloves, enriched the visual layering of the upper body. The wings and halo were the soul of the entire look; to minimize the physical strain of the props during the shoot, lightweight materials were prioritized, though the structural support of the frame could not be compromised lest they collapse.

The shooting took place in a pitch-black indoor studio, maximizing the pop of the sparkling gown sequins and the floating musical note special effects added in post-production. The photographer offered invaluable composition advice: medium close-ups highlighted headpiece details, while low-angle and high-angle perspectives injected dynamic vitality into static portraits. In this genre of Anime-style photography featuring wings and halos, lighting arrangement is crucial; frontal soft light must be cast evenly, otherwise harsh facial shadows will flatten the three-dimensional facial contours.

During post-processing, we avoided heavy, artificial skin smoothing, retaining authentic skin textures to preserve a tactile, high-end feel. The finishing touch of the images lay in the floating musical notes and starlight visual effects; integrating them seamlessly echoed the character's identity as a Celestial Ring Tribe singer. Layered with these effects, the cool-toned blue-and-white atmosphere was wonderfully accentuated.

In fact, the greatest challenge of this photoshoot was maintaining flawless posture: wearing wings while keeping the shoulders straight and level genuinely tested core endurance. Furthermore, wearing white gloves restricted fine finger movements, requiring repeated angle adjustments when raising a hand or gesturing toward the distance. Nonetheless, the finished results were immensely rewarding; the moment the flashes fired, it truly felt like transforming into that singer commanding the stage.

Having done cosplay for so long, every character recreation brings a unique journey. From early prep to final delivery, despite the many trials along the way, successfully bringing out the texture of this garment design and merging lighting effects with the character's intrinsic grace brought me a deep sense of accomplishment.
