This purple-and-white look truly hit every aesthetic preference of mine. When I first got this costume, I wondered how to coordinate purple and white without feeling mismatched, but later found that the deep purple of the jacket layered over a crisp white blouse and soft lavender bow tie created remarkable textural depth. To complement this Purple style outfit, I deliberately chose a bobbed silver wig with blunt bangs and crimson colored contacts to generate a striking visual contrast. For makeup, I emphasized the eyes and lips—red-brown eyeshadow paired with dark crimson lipstick gave me a commanding, poised presence within such a cool-toned environment. On the lower half, I opted for black shorts paired with Black pantyhose; black creates a slimming visual effect, and the semi-sheer texture of the Black pantyhose sculpted the contours of my legs beautifully under the studio lights, which is one of my personal favorite details of this E-sports girl styling.
The shoot was set inside an authentic Gaming room, surrounded by PC rigs and monitors glowing with vibrant RGB lighting. The glimmers across the display screens and the cold radiance of the chassis cooling fans established a moody tone where cyberpunk met cutting-edge tech aesthetics. The first shot was a half-body portrait taken seated on the gaming chair: leaning all the way back with one arm braced against the headrest, the other hand resting naturally, and legs crossed. This posture captured the ergonomic embrace of the chair while showing off the elongated lines of the Black pantyhose. Because the lighting was complex, the photographer added a soft key light in front to keep facial illumination clean and dimensional without washing out the ambient purple glow from the surrounding hardware.
I was especially thrilled with the full-body composition of the second shot. Seated squarely in the center of the gaming chair with legs slightly parted, I reached one hand forward while striking a hand gesture with the other. Holding this pose was genuinely challenging, as keeping my spine straight was crucial to maintain the crisp silhouette of the athletic jacket, while engaging my legs ensured clean, sharp lines. To emphasize leg proportions, the photographer selected a slightly low eye-level perspective; this framed both the gaming chair and multiple PC rigs behind me into the shot, while visually elongating my stature. The icy blue light from the chassis cast subtle glints across the silver wig, forging a delicate color harmony. The hem of the purple jacket naturally billowed open across the seat, revealing the inner white shirt and bow tie—showcasing the full depth of this layered coordination.
The shooting day was physically demanding. Although gaming chairs are comfortable to sit in, striking natural yet subtly alluring poses upon them is quite a workout. Wearing sleek Black pantyhose on smooth leather made it prone to sliding, so keeping stable required constantly bracing my core, needing several breaks to wrap the shoot. But seeing the final edits made every bit of effort worthwhile. The Purple style outfit harmonized seamlessly with the cool-toned Gaming room environment, and the pairing of shorts and pantyhose flattered my proportions to perfection. The entire session revolved around tweaking angles, balancing lights, and hunting for the most photogenic poses on that chair, ultimately completing this techwear-infused Cosplay photography project for an E-sports girl.
