For this Angels of Delusion styling of Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero, extensive prep work went into everything from the wardrobe to the wig. Because a mint green wig easily washes out under natural lighting, I trimmed the layers and sideburns beforehand, doing my best to maintain airy volume. The little black triangular hairpin at the crown and the heart-shaped sunglasses are the true soul accessories; I chose white frames with dark greenish lenses, and perching them atop my head projected far more rebellious, playful energy than wearing them across the bridge of my nose.
The outfit is founded on a pink-and-white palette, but red suspenders and straps add substantial visual weight. The sleeveless crop top is printed with pink lettering, cinched at the waist with a white leather belt bearing a square silver metal buckle. The skirt features a two-tiered construction—a white pleated outer layer over a pink pleated inner layer, accented on the side with a red letter 'K' and ribbon streamers that show off striking visual depth when walking. The pink detached sleeves on my arms are anchored with red buckled straps and white rivets, capturing that signature fusion of techwear functionalism and cute aesthetics. The red choker necklace with a yellow bird charm around my neck is the most eye-catching nuance of the whole look, standing out brilliantly in close-up portraits.
The shooting set was an all-pink E-sports girl gaming room, where the monitor, pink keyboard, and display cabinet full of anime figures in the background served as ideal scenic accents. This photo collection explored three distinct poses. The first movement had my arms crossed in an 'X' over the chest; this pose rigorously tests arm definition, and leaning forward in the gaming chair required pulling the shoulders in slightly while holding a gaze that was cool, detached, and subtly provocative. The second pose was sitting back in the chair with knees bent and crossed, resting my hands naturally over the knees while turning my profile to look gently downward. This angle was aimed at showcasing the natural draping folds of the flared skirt alongside the chunky presence of the boots—white lace-up platform combat boots paired with white mid-calf socks with yellow varsity stripes, visually elongating my leg proportions considerably. The third pose involved leaning forward, flashing an 'OK' sign beside my cheek with legs spread slightly apart; this allowed the skirt to flare out wider, and planting the chunky white boots firmly onto the pink circular floor rug amplified dynamic visual tension.
For makeup, matching the mint green wig and teal-green contacts, I used soft pink tones across the eyeshadow to create chromatic contrast, accentuating the inner corners and aegyo-sal with luminous highlights, sweeping pronounced rosy blush across the cheeks, and finishing with a dewy, pale pink lip to prevent looking washed out under indoor cool-toned studio lights. On the lighting front, the key light was positioned at a three-quarter frontal angle to sculpt three-dimensional facial contours while infusing the green hair with translucent radiance, keeping the background slightly darker to pop the subject and harmonizing the overall color grading between pink and green.
While this outfit looks utterly adorable, it hides numerous intricate mechanisms—the suspenders and harness straps required precise tension adjustments to prevent warping during expansive movements, and the substantial thickness of the skirt required mindful sitting postures to avoid pressing harsh creases into the pleats. The entire shoot was largely an exercise in fine-tuning small details and settling into the costume's rhythm. I hope this look, blending sci-fi tech elements with cute 2D flair, brings a refreshing visual treat to everyone.
