Choosing to shoot K/DA Ahri on a rooftop at night this time was actually to capture the moment where the city neon lights collide with the character's own charming temperament. This K/DA outfit has many details; the white off-the-shoulder top paired with gold trim, along with the black patent leather shorts and long boots, creates a visually rich sense of layering. To recreate Ahri's nine-tailed fox characteristics, I specially wore plush fox ears and a long silver wig. For the makeup, I emphasized the cat eyeliner and the two iconic red facial markings near the eyes, paired with the gloss of the lip lacquer, making the overall makeup feel ready for the stage while remaining lively.

The biggest challenge during the shoot was keeping the eyes focused under the complex night light sources, as the background had various warm and cool blue-purple bokeh spots, which could easily cause color distortion on the facial skin tone. I ahead adjusted the brightness of the skin tone base makeup, and used a portable small fill light to ensure the facial lighting was even and dimensional. The headset I wore and the small pendant around my neck are highly accurate props; holding them gave me the illusion of truly standing on the stage of the K/DA group.

This set of photos used a large-aperture prime lens, blurring the city lights in the background into beautiful bokeh circles, making the subject stand out extraordinarily. To find a natural yet slightly tsundere pose during the shoot, I repeatedly adjusted the interaction angle between my hands and the microphone, and even tried a composition extending my hand toward the lens, hoping to convey Ahri's intimate vibe of "we're on the same wavelength." Although the outdoor wind at night was quite strong, constantly messing up the wig and ears, repeatedly adjusting them actually captured a somewhat casual atmosphere. That's how cosplay is; every single detail—from the accessories to the expression in the eyes—must strive to fit the character's soul. This night view cosplay photography experience was incredibly satisfying and gave me a deeper understanding of Ahri. I hope the me through the lens can make you feel the confident and charming nine-tailed fox on stage.
