Starting from this summer, due to a job transfer, I will need to be based in Nanjing for three months, until October. Taking this opportunity, I intend to officially look for photography teachers in the Nanjing or Hangzhou area for long-term collaboration. To clarify here, this is a paid photoshoot booking, not a collaborative trade (TFP). Photographers who have availability and are interested in the themes can contact me directly.
A brief introduction of my situation. I am a PSD Annual Album coser with 30k+ followers on Weibo and 10k+ on Douyin. I usually archive some of my works on Weibo and Qzone. The quality of my photoshoots is just like the set of photos posted above. Teachers who want to see more works can browse my Weibo under the same name. One special point to mention is that I do 90% of my image post-processing myself, so the photography teacher doesn't need to be responsible for any retouching work at all and can just focus on the early-stage lighting and composition. This also means I have clearer requirements for the collaborating photography teachers; we need to achieve a high level of consistency in aesthetic, otherwise, mistakes in the initial lighting and composition will make it very hard for me to pull the overall image back during post-processing.
I hope the collaborating photography teacher is not a beginner; their technical level and aesthetic ability should at least be on par with my current work. My personal aesthetic preference leans toward bright, flowing, cinematic, or vintage styles, and I hope the teacher is also quite diverse in exploring photography styles. In terms of shooting themes, my personal IP preferences are mainly concentrated on "Arknights" and "Touhou Project." Although I currently do more of these two IPs, I am actually quite omnivorous. If the character is interesting, the design looks good, or there is a great outdoor location to explore, any other IP is completely fine, and I am very happy to challenge characters of different styles.
Since I will stay in Nanjing for a full three months this time, the shooting schedule will be quite flexible. I place extreme value on the efficiency of cooperation. The photographer focuses on controlling the visual texture and character emotions, and I am responsible for the artistic presentation of the post-processing. Only with such a clear division of labor can the photoshoot efficiency be maximized. Both Nanjing and Hangzhou have many excellent photography scenes, whether ancient architecture, natural scenery, or studio shoots, I hope to use this business trip opportunity to communicate and collaborate more with local teachers for a Nanjing photoshoot or a Hangzhou photography booking. I believe that every shoot is not just about producing work, but also a process of learning from each other's aesthetics.
