[Yumemizuki Mizuki Cosplay] Genshin Impact, Launch! Spring Fantasy Under Yuyuantan Cherry Blossoms

I just got this set of photos shot at Yuyuantan Park, and I really love this attempt at recreating Miss Mizuki's poster pose. Although I often do outdoor shoots, controlling the long sleeves and geta sandals while lifting one leg and keeping a natural expression still requires a few little tricks.

For the outfit, I chose this modified Japanese-style dress in a pink, white, and purple colorway. The wide off-the-shoulder sleeves are printed with intertwined purple and pink cloud patterns, looking visually very lightweight. The two large hair buns on top of my head, combined with the light blue-white long hair and the specially worn elf ears, create a dreamlike and agile feel unique to the 2D world. The black bow tie with a golden round buckle at the neckline is a small accent for the entire outfit, giving the large expanse of light tones a visual focus.

For the footwear, I chose white platform modified geta sandals paired with white tabi socks. This way of wearing, which combines traditional Japanese elements with modern cosplay aesthetics, retains the styling feel of geta while making it easier to stand due to the platform soles. The edges of the socks are tied with light purple ribbons, perfectly echoing the purple elements on the dress. When stepping on the green grass and soil of Yuyuantan Park, I had to be extra careful against slipping, but fortunately, the soles are wide enough, and the support is quite excellent.

Regarding the props, two sets were paired: one is a purple round fan, which can elongate the character's lines when raising my hands; the other is a black tray paired with purple-pink bottle-shaped props and a few sticks of three-color dango. When holding the tray, to simulate the lightweight feel from the poster, I not only had to extend my arms gracefully but also had to align the props with the camera lens direction. Fortunately, the actual operation turned out to be quite harmonious.

Yuyuantan Park in Beijing during April is precisely in the cherry blossom season, and the trees full of blooming flowers make for a genuinely photogenic natural backdrop for cherry blossom photography. The sunlight filtered through the petals, leaving a soft rim light in my hair. During this Beijing photoshoot, there happened to be a gentle breeze, and a few petals drifted down, which, paired with the round fan in my hand, brought a rushing breath of spring. I want to give special thanks here to the photographer @pzzz📷; their snapshot speed was incredibly fast, and their control over light and shadow was highly professional. Many moments of standing on one leg were precisely captured, injecting a lot of vivid dynamic feel into this set of photos through professional cosplay photography.

Friends who look at the original post might notice that I wrote "Genshin Impact, Launch!" and "I really don't play Genshin Impact." This counts as a teasing joke among friends. Although I don't really play the game, the design of this gear indeed carries a strong vibe of fantasy adventure. When taking photos under the cherry blossom trees, it felt as though I had truly immersed myself into some 2D world full of magic and spring vibes.

Overall, the atmosphere of this outdoor shoot at Yuyuantan was excellent, with the costume, props, venue, and lighting blending together perfectly. Although standing on one leg while wearing platform geta sandals for dozens of shots was indeed a bit tiring, seeing the final photos made me feel that everything was completely worth it.
