【2B Cosplay】NieR:Automata Creative Bunny Girl Style & Cool-Toned Low-Angle Shots - Image 2

The idea of shooting this creative version of 2B's bunny girl style was finalized as soon as the costume style was chosen. 2B's iconic silver-white short hair and black outfit tone from NieR:Automata served as the foundation of our creation, upon which we innovatively fused combat elements with classic bunny girl design. The shooting location was selected in a modern minimalist space, where the white ceiling and slightly reflective floor tiles happened to build a cool, crisp atmosphere, forming a strong visual contrast with the extensive black leather clothing on the character. The tray prop in my hand gleamed with a metallic luster under top lighting, retaining a touch of cool detachment for 2B as an android unit while serving as an intrinsic continuation of the original setting. This photoshoot represents my creative interpretation of this character.

The costume coordination was based on several key details. For headwear, large black bunny ears lined with pale pink were chosen, adding a lively touch to the overall dark outfit. The upper body featured a black cropped leather jacket combined with a black tube top, clean and sleek, which, paired with a small black bow tie at the neckline, balanced cool detachment with bunny girl charm perfectly. The lower body consisted of high-waisted black leather shorts embellished with delicate silver buttons on the front and fine ruffled lace along the edges, softening the tough leather texture with a playful flair. The core visual highlight was undoubtedly concentrated on the legs—a premium black tights outfit paired with white ring straps at the knees and glossy patent leather high heels visually stretched the leg line to its maximum, creating an intersection of curves and straight lines. White wrist guards echoed the glove section of 2B's original design while breaking up the monotony of extensive black with a sharp black-and-white color contrast.

In terms of poses and compositional concepts, we wanted to make full use of this open space. The first image utilized a classic super-low-angle shot, with the legs spread straight, one hand steadily holding the tray, and the other extending naturally downward and outward, forming a stable yet tense triangular composition in the frame. The low angle maximized the extension of the black tights outfit and high heels, while making the white ceiling converge toward the center like a dome, enhancing the visual impact and the character's presence. The second image cleverly borrowed a black metal folding ladder prepared on-site as an interactive prop; resting one foot lightly on a step created richer spatial layers through a staggered pose, making the overall look much more vibrant and dynamic for this casual cosplay session.

I really love this mode of expression combining cold architecture with the character. The cool white light emitted from the indoor recessed louver lights precisely outlined the folds and luster of the black leather jacket, while giving the black tights outfit a delicate and subtle highlight reflection. The mirror-like floor tiles clearly reflected the legs and shoe tips, creating an upper-and-lower echoing effect that opened up spatial depth visually and reinforced the overall coolness and cyberpunk atmosphere. Regarding gear, the slight perspective stretching inherent to the lens appropriately accentuated the leg proportions, making the physique appear even more slender and statuesque.

Of course, behind the cool and effortless presentation lie quite a few balancing techniques. Wearing roughly ten-centimeter shiny high heels while staying stable on relatively smooth indoor tiles—especially in the second photo, where I needed to rest one leg on a metal step while keeping the upper body upright and balancing the tray—required a fair amount of core strength and center-of-gravity control. Luckily, my partner had a great handle on the shooting tempo, quickly finding the most comfortable postures and precisely capturing those natural, relaxed moments. The cold, hard texture of the metal ladder itself resonated perfectly with the outfit's materials.

This creation was not just a simple shoot, but also my stylized attempt on this classic character. The silver bob paired with a calm, deep gaze and this dark-style bunny girl style outfit produced a unique spark. From scene selection to prop usage and final color grading logic, every step aimed to retain 2B's aura while showcasing the tension unique to this costume. I am thrilled to share my derivative creation of this character through this 2B cosplay photoshoot, and I hope every new release brings fresh insights into photography and character understanding.
