Putting on this white shirt with a blue bow tie and a dark long skirt, I instantly returned to Fuyuki City filled with a wintry atmosphere from the 2006 version of Fate/stay night. As the gateway work for many Type-Moon fans, the unique tenderness and sharpness of the old art style have always been unforgettable. Therefore, this time I specially chose this classic daily casual look to present another side of Saber.

Speaking of the makeup, in order to match that vintage yet cool texture from the 2006 anime, I deliberately avoided heavy or exaggerated makeup, focusing instead on the clean, bright look of the eyes and the transparency of the base makeup. Combined with the iconic braided updo and ahoge, I hope to recreate as much as possible the image of the King of Knights, who eats snacks in the courtyard but is always ready to draw her sword and fight.

During the shoot, I also tried different poses, such as sitting upright in front of the tea table with both hands properly placed on my knees. I feel this calm temperament fits the character's sense of responsibility and elegance perfectly. The setting was chosen in this old wooden house full of Japanese Zen atmosphere. Through the sliding glass doors, you can see the scattered greenery in the yard. The soft natural light falling on me adds a touch of serenity to the entire set of photos. This was also specially selected when we scouted the location before the shoot, striving to make the character and the Japanese-style garden generate a synchronized sense of breathing. Whether it's the moment of looking down in deep thought or looking back while gently pushing open the wooden door, I tried to capture her defenseless softness that belongs to daily life, apart from her bravery on the battlefield.

For old fans, being able to personally re-interpret this classic character is a dream come true in itself. I hope the sense of storytelling conveyed in this Cosplay photography can also make you recall that summer of the Holy Grail and covenants once again.
