[Asuma Toki cosplay] Blue Archive's Abi-Eshuh Activation, Maximized Retro-Tech Vibe - Image 1

This time, I brought Asuma Toki's Abi-Eshuh gear into a retro electronic-style studio, and I'm quite satisfied with the overall vibe. The circular mechanical device on the head was made to light up, with blue light effects and glowing transparent pieces highlighting the sense of technology in low light. The outfit is a black high-neck halter bodysuit, made from a slightly glossy leather alternative, which naturally outlines body lines under the lighting without looking too heavy. The gloves and leg armor were all carved from high-density EVA with chamfered edges. After white spray-painting, blue water-slide decals were added for details, making them visually closer to the mechanical structures in the game.

The most demanding part of wearing the outfit was keeping the armor from shifting during movements, so invisible straps and non-slip pads were added inside. The scene was piled with vintage CRT TVs, radios, and Polaroids, aiming to create a contrast of "future technology left behind in an old era," which goes unexpectedly well with Abi-Eshuh's cold technological setting. During the shoot, the direction of the highlights was adjusted to soften the light on the face, while the metal and acrylic pieces had clear reflections. In post-processing, I basically only fine-tuned the color temperature and kept the film grain, making the entire frame closer to a Cyberpunk-style cinematic still. Putting on and taking off the gear indeed took a lot of effort, but seeing the calm and focused expression and the precise recreation of the mechanical accessories in the final photos made it all feel worth it. This cosplay attempt combined character traits with the real-scene atmosphere, hoping to convey the unique rationality and calmness of Asuma Toki through Cosplay photography.
