[Altria cosplay] FGO Rider Alter: The Solemnity and Elegance of the Swimsuit Knight - Image 1

This shoot features the summer Rider-class Altria from Fate/Grand Order, commonly known as Rider Alter. Regarding props, this greatsword with red patterns was specially custom-made, with its weight and grip feel trying their best to restore the original setting. For the costume, a black dress with hollowed-out designs was chosen, paired with her signature black choker and thorny crown. The overall color tone leans cool and dark, forming a stark contrast with the red-brown leather sofa in the background.

The makeup emphasizes the expression of the eyes and brows, aiming to convey the King of Knights' majestic temperament even at a summer beach. The wig is a silvery-white style with straight bangs, slightly curled at the forehead, with the back tied up and secured with hair accessories to prevent it from getting messy during movements. During the shoot, we tried a composition of a sitting pose holding the sword, with the tip touching the ground and hands folded over the hilt, which preserves the character's combat stance while adding a touch of composure.

The indoor lighting leans cool, which, combined with the diffuse reflection from the sheer curtains, makes the skin texture softer while highlighting the matte luster of the black outfit. The Black stockings and high heels paired this time are also classic elements of the character, with the leg lines beautifully echoing the cut of the skirt hem. The biggest challenge during the entire shooting process was maintaining a stable expression and posture; since the sword is quite long, I had to adjust my center of gravity to capture stable frames. I'm quite satisfied with the final prints from this session, especially the red patterns on the blade and the shadow details. In post-processing, the background was slightly darkened to make the subject pop, hoping to present an atmosphere where heroism and elegance coexist.
