The official Cosplay photoshoot for this Luo Tianyi bridal outfit is finally ready to share with everyone! The core theme of this shoot was to craft a belated birthday tribute for our beloved "World's Number One Foodie Princess," so when shaping the overall atmosphere, I wanted to deliver a presence that was both sacred and tenderly gentle (Luo Tianyi cosplay).
First, let's talk about the set design. To match the bridal theme, we installed a gradient blue-and-purple backdrop accented with cascading green vines and white florals, infusing the entire space with vibrant life. The prop team arranged Roman columns, a wooden easel, steps, and pearl bead curtains, which, together with tiered white candles and soaring white doves, created an exquisitely dreamy visual effect. Pre-production set styling took quite a bit of time, but seeing the final cuts made every minute completely worthwhile.
Regarding the costume, this Luo Tianyi bridal outfit incorporates numerous clever nuances. The upper bodice features a Chinese-style mandarin collar structure with sheer illusion mesh splicing across the chest, adorned with flowing tassels and teardrop crystal pendants below. The sleeves are dramatic puff sleeves made of semi-sheer chiffon, tied with light-blue ribbons around the arms. The skirt is a multi-tiered lace miniskirt, rich in dimensional layering. For leg styling, I paired it with delicate White stockings featuring lace garter straps and over-the-knee heeled boots, which not only elongated my overall proportions but also harmonized beautifully with the pristine bridal purity. The wig is silver-grey infused with subtle slate-blue tones, styled into two looped top knots accented with light-blue bows, paired with vivid green contact lenses to stay as faithful as possible to the character's signature traits.
The shooting process was quite a physical workout. To stay true to character, I had to wear this intricate, layered outfit while perched on the Roman columns executing varied poses. In the first photo, holding a white dove in one hand with a floral bouquet in the other, it took several attempts to find the most natural balance and tension. Posing with one leg resting atop a wooden stool also demanded core stability to stay poised, all while keeping a close eye on the drape of the skirt and the White stockings garter lines to ensure the composition looked graceful without accidental wardrobe slips. The photographer poured immense care into lighting, using abundant diffusion gear to sculpt a soft, translucent glow. During post-processing, we made sure to preserve organic skin textures without excessive airbrushing, keeping the imagery grounded and authentic in this Anime-style photography piece.
The second half-body shot holding the bouquet was mainly intended to showcase the intricate upper garment details and overall makeup look. Cradling the white rose bouquet in both hands, I kept imagining celebrating our "Foodie Princess's" birthday, allowing my expression to settle into something soft, sweet, and warm. Many details of this costume—like the chest tassels and collar lace—looked stunning in close-up shots. Cutting and styling the wig took deliberate care, as silver-grey hair easily flattens under intense lights, so we specifically enhanced its textural separation.
The bridal series has always been a concept I longed to explore; it carries a deep ceremonial elegance while offering immense room for nuanced details. From costume fittings and prop coordination to posing adjustments and ocular expression during shooting, every step demands patience and refinement. To honor the birthday theme, a wide variety of florals were prepared on set—beyond white roses, blue floral accents were sprinkled in, echoing the blue-purple gradient backdrop.
Bringing this Cosplay photoshoot to fruition wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of the photographer and our support crew, who worked tirelessly in the studio all day adjusting sets and lights.
