[Ram & Rem Cosplay] Cool Duo White Stockings Shoot at the Water Park

Under the radiant sun at an outdoor water park, we wrapped up our Ram cosplay and Rem cosplay duo Swimsuit cosplay shoot. The costume design is remarkably eye-catching, featuring sailor collars paired with yellow neckties, where the semi-sheer fabric adds a delightful touch of airy lightness. The striped bikini worn underneath boasts high color saturation under the sunlight, perfectly echoing the giant pink and blue swim rings. Since this was a duo Anime-style photography shoot, we synchronized our poses in advance to ensure maximum efficiency within our limited shooting window.

Shooting in the water turned out to be trickier than expected. Although soaking in the water on a hot summer day felt cooling, maneuvering the swim rings while constantly fighting to maintain balance was no small feat. Once underwater, the White stockings soaked up water, becoming heavy and clinging snugly to our legs; yet the resulting texture was truly distinctive, with water droplets beading on the stockings adding rich, tactile detail to the frame. The wigs also required nonstop attention: splashes could easily plaster strands to our faces, and the dense bangs especially had to be blotted dry with tissues and recombed whenever soaked.

We experimented with an array of poses. In one setup, we sat along the blue tiled edge of the pool with legs dangling freely, dipping our toes right at the surface to kick up gentle ripples. In the back-to-back shots, one of us held the blue ring while the other held the pink ring; sitting submerged in water, we kept our backs straight to showcase the sailor-collar back details and the neat pleats of the skirts. Another shot involved lying prone across the pool steps—a difficult angle to nail, requiring constant adjustments to our arm height and torso tilt so the swim rings wouldn't obscure our faces. For close-up frames peering out through the middle of the inflatable rings, tucking our bodies into tight positions made it easy to lose footing underwater, forcing us to grip the ring edges firmly while projecting effortless, playful expressions.

The afternoon sunlight was immaculate, dancing across the sparkling ripples and naturally bouncing soft fill light onto our faces, which thrilled the photographer. To capture vivid splash effects, we kicked water and waved our arms, fine-tuning each movement to seize the most spontaneous moment. During one dynamic shot involving raising our hands and leaping in the water, the sun refracts through the rippling surface onto our legs and sheer garments, producing an ethereal, translucent glow. The photographer shouted 'Hold it!', and we froze right there in the pool—slippery footwork aside, the resulting frame was incredibly vibrant.

The chemistry during this duo shoot was exceptional. Because we each understood the other's pacing, we intuitively grasped the adjustments needed for each pose. Outdoor summer shoots can be grueling in the heat, but sweating it out was completely worth it to bring such a fresh, energetic photo set to life.
