When putting on this pure white pajama look of Everson, I could actually feel a wonderful sense of contrast between the character and the outdoor environment of the convention. The venue of Azur Lane's 9th anniversary celebration was bustling with crowds, but for this set of convention photos, we specifically chose a clean gray wall in a dimly lit corner of the exhibition hall, laid out a white fluffy carpet, and attempted to build a quiet, 2D healing style corner belonging to the Commander amidst the noisy convention. For the hair color, I chose a short silver-white wig that complements the skin tone. Considering the complexity of live lighting at the venue, the wig was meticulously teased and layered, striving to make the overall look light and airy rather than heavy. The blue-and-white collar on the neck and the semi-sheer lace cuffs on the wrists are the visual focal points of this outfit. The materials needed to balance structure and flow. During the actual shoot, a purple magic book prop was added as an embellishment; the gold-stamping patterns on the book formed a comfortable cool-toned contrast with the main white and blue color scheme.
During the photoshoot, the photographer Pulao 411 and I coordinated with seamless chemistry. Since the pajama look inherently carries a casual, homestyle laziness, the composition did not deliberately pursue sharp, rigid lines. Instead, we used angles like half-kneeling, sitting sideways, and using the book to slightly block the face to reveal only the eyes. These poses could perfectly fit that elegant yet slightly playful feel in Everson's official character art. The lighting at the venue was actually not very ideal, but under backlit conditions, the photographer used fill light equipment to beautifully preserve the highlight layers of the white hair while ensuring a translucent glow on my face. As someone who personally participated in this 9th anniversary offline event, being able to put on the official character's exquisite costume and shoot on-site was a wonderful way to commemorate it in itself. Looking back at the entire process, from the early makeup and styling to on-site direction, and then to the post-processing for a translucent skin tone, everything was tailored to align with the official original design as much as possible. I hope everyone who sees this set of photos can feel that unique clarity and soothing vibe from the Tulip Kingdom.
