The costumes, makeup, and props for Iroha from Cosmic Princess Kaguya! were prepared for quite a while, and my partner Kaguya is also highly accurate. The purple wig paired with fox ears and the red diamond mark between the eyebrows, along with the blue outfit with white patterns, fits the overall setting quite well in tone. Complemented by the effect of the green colored contact lenses, we needed to pay more attention to angles when conveying gaze and expressions during the shoot.

This time, the scene was chosen in an indoor setting with a strong Japanese style, where the paper umbrellas and lanterns filled the backdrop with atmosphere. Paired with Kaguya's rabbit-eared red outfit, the color contrast is lively yet conflict-free. During the shooting process, both of us tried our best to maintain the character traits. For a duo cosplay work like this that requires a sense of interaction, tacit understanding is truly crucial.

Actually, the photo with the mirror counts as a semi-documentary perspective; we had just changed into our shoes and were ready to go out, showing some relaxed behind-the-scenes vibes. Because the entire costume feels quite form-fitting and restrictive when moving around, especially the treatment of the neckline and hemline, we made some adjustments to the standing poses and positioning for this cosplay photography creation. The Japanese-style makeup and styling used a rather natural smudging technique to highlight the character's agility. Overall, expressing characters you love in a way you excel at is a highly fulfilling achievement.
