[New Jersey cosplay] Azur Lane deep blue qipao and black stockings studio photo record

This time shooting the qipao photoset of Azur Lane's New Jersey, the overall visual effect was even more stunning than I expected. This dark blue modified qipao adopts a halter-neck design, with black sheer mesh and lace spliced at the neckline and side waist positions. The skirt body is covered with exquisite golden floral embroidery, and the high-slit design of the hem is just right to gracefully showcase the leg lines. To match the overall styling, I chose black translucent long gloves, and a pair of black stiletto high heels decorated with golden chains and straps, with eye-catching red soles. On my legs, I wore black stockings, which visually make the leg lines appear more slender. The wig part remains the iconic bright blue long hair, styled with double-loop buns on top of the head, and adorned with a golden branch-like tiara, paired with blue colored contacts and red makeup accents under the eyes. The overall makeup and styling details are very complete.

The scene setup follows a traditional Japanese-style studio style, with wooden lattice doors, warm yellow paper lanterns, and tatami mats in the background. On the background board is a huge full moon, surrounded by white flower branches, and the ground is covered with a large amount of dry ice to create a smoky effect. The shooting props are very rich; I picked up a white teacup, a black folding fan, a slender calligraphy brush, and held a traditional grayish-white oiled-paper umbrella. The scene is also dotted with some small wooden tea tables, on which white wine pots and teacups are placed, alongside several very cute yellow bird and white rabbit plush toys. These props not only enrich the frame but also make the poses during the shoot more natural.

During the shooting process, the photographer skillfully used the warm yellow light of the lanterns and the cool-toned light of the background in the scene. This alternating cool and warm light shining on the body gave the dark blue fabric and golden embroidery a very high-end texture. Due to the high slit of the qipao hem, special attention was needed when sitting down or changing poses to tidy up the skirt hem and avoid accidental exposure. To make the black stockings and leg lines in the frame look smooth, I tried various postures such as sitting, kneeling, and standing, and tried my best to straighten my toes to extend the visual effect. Moving on the wooden floor wearing stiletto heels, coupled with the dry ice smoke on the ground, required extra caution during positioning to avoid slipping. When posing with the oiled-paper umbrella, the arms needed to maintain a certain sense of strength, and to make the movements look soft and graceful, the angles were repeatedly adjusted several times.

The combination of the sheer mesh design and deep tones of this outfit, while showcasing the character's original temperament, also adds a bit of maturity and sexiness. In the final presented frame, the collision of dark blue, black, and gold is very harmonious, with the hazy smoke and the full moon behind reflecting each other, perfectly fitting the atmosphere of this studio shoot. Although the entire process required frequent adjustments of state and details, the photo results made me extremely satisfied.
